We stumbled upon Niu by chance, and it turned out to be a real gem. The atmosphere is laid-back yet refined, with a great view and staff that are attentive without being overbearing.

We ordered the mussels, the grilled prawns, and the daily special: tostadita with aged picanha. Everything was fresh and beautifully plated.

The mussels came in a generous portion with a light, flavorful broth – the perfect start.

The grilled prawns were cooked just right: well-seasoned, juicy, with a subtle smoky touch from the grill.

And the highlight of the meal: the tostadita with aged picanha. The meat was tender, full of flavor, served on a crispy base with toppings that brought it all together.

The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall relaxed but polished vibe of the place.

Prices are slightly above average, but fully justified by the quality of the ingredients and...

Absolutely fantastic! Laidback environment, efficient service and amazing cuisine: creative yet local, beautifully presented, perfectly seasoned, consistent and, above all, in explosion of flavour in each bite! We travel and eat out a lot - from food trucks to Michellin-starred restaurants. And we work in the industry. We have never gone back to the same restaurant during the same trip. We had the most amazing lunch at NUI! We made a group reservation (30+ guests), and the staff was incredibly attentive.
