I don't recommend this place if you want to be treated with integrity. I went with four friends, ordered the shwarmas, mine was very small, vegan and not very impressive (low quality vegetables, soggy, not much taste and at €15 it was overpriced) so I asked to change it instead for a vegan pizza. It finally turned up after 45mins and was nice so I thought, ok I'll give this place another chance. Then the bill came. The shwarma was on there, I politely asked why - the waitress told me there was nothing wrong with it so... I told her again that it was under par, the vegetables were soggy and tasted of nothing. Then the owner came out. Again, third time, I had to explain why I wasn't happy with the shwarma, now I added that I'd had to wait 45mins for the pizza too. Her response: 'Well I've had to leave my position of work to find you a solution, and I'm very busy.' Her attitude was just rotten. Instead of apologising for the soggy vegetables and long wait for the second order - which I hadn't complained about until that moment - she was trying to embarrass me into paying for both items. That's not going to happen. I've been in Ibiza for 14 years and I've never written a bad review - I used to be a food critic so to have to write this today is not normal for me but I've never been interrogated like this before for giving feedback or sending back a bit of bread with mushy veg! The owner of this place basically laughed at me when I told her the sharwma was not good enough. She then said: 'Well the next time you come then don't order it because this is the way we make it...' Why on earth would I order something again that I've sent back???!!! My response was that I won't be going back again. And neither will my friends. Or their friends. We all found her rude, arrogant and there was also an extra beer on the bill that no-one had ordered. Had there not been a fight over paying for this under par shwarma we'd probably have gone back. Not now....
Read moreThis restaurant used to be good, very poor now. Brought parents for dinner here and order a sea bas with vegetable stew, homemade potatoes and vegetables. I received a Seabas with vegetable stew and half an artichoke (as the vegetables) and when I tried to cut the fish, it was soaked in oil. The ‘homemade potatoes’ where chips (not the ones from England but literally potato chips like Lays). I couldn’t believe it. I asked the waiter about it and she said that this is the way they do it there and they don’t actually have other potatoes. She said that she can take the order back to the kitchen and I could order something else. When the bill came, she said that the sea bas was an ‘offer’ and I don’t have to pay for it. I did not even have the sea bas because was soaked in oil and the potatoes where not potatoes but deep fried snack chips. She said that in Ibiza you have to pay usually for the food sent back to the kitchen. I live here and I never had that experience. She agreed that the chips were not potatoes and the artichoke is not ‘vegetables’ but no apologies given for the bad experience.
Such a poor experience altogether. Thanks but no thanks. There are so many good restaurants in Ibiza. Don’t have to settle for...
Read moreNice setting but the simple food we had was mediocre (even for this price) and we waited over 30 minutes for scrambled eggs, avocado and a cherry tomato and over 40 for poached eggs with no explanation. The waitress was apologetic when she finally brought the poached eggs and mentioned the cook had some problems with the dish. The fine art of poaching eggs unfortunately hadn’t been mastered by the cook. The poached eggs were slimy and watery. My scrambled eggs were mushy and the toast was burnt. My husband didn’t have to pay for his orange juice so that was a nice gesture. 2 stars for the setting and friendly though rather...
