We visited this restaurant based on the many positive reviews, but unfortunately, our experience did not quite live up to the expectations.
On a positive note, we were warmly welcomed and promptly shown to our table. The food and drink menus were brought quickly, and the service throughout the evening was friendly and attentive. A nice gesture was being offered complimentary wine tastings to help us decide — unfortunately, none of the wines we tried (Lugana, Sauvignon, and Pinot Grigio) really impressed us in terms of taste.
As for the food, we ordered Melanzane, mussels, lasagna, and the Pizza Gambas.
The mussels came in a watery, flavorless sauce. Even after adding salt and chili oil, the dish remained underwhelming. The lasagna portion was quite small and tasted rather bland, more like a starter than a main course. The Pizza Gambas was unfortunately the biggest disappointment — the dough was rubbery, lacked flavor, and did not leave a memorable impression.
To sum up:
Service: 4 out of 5 stars – friendly and accommodating. Food: 2 out of 5 stars – lacking in flavor and quality. Ambience: 3 out of 5 stars – average, nothing particularly special.
While the staff did their best to make us feel welcome, the food did not match the high expectations set by previous reviews. Hopefully, these aspects can be improved for...

The waiter was incredibly kind, but apart from that the service wasn't that great. It took us more than an hour to receive our food even though there weren't many people in the restaurant. They also forgot two of our sides. After reminding them they told us they would give it to us for free, but still ended up including it on the check. Not to mention the hidden seemingly unconditional 10% gratuity fee, which would have been fine if they were upfront about it in advance.
My food was pretty good! I had a carbonara, which was almost authentic (except for minor details like using parsley and short pasta). However, I also got to try their risotto, which was pale and boring both in looks and taste.
Finally, the atmosphere was alright. Cozy restaurant, but not much else to say about it.
The prices were pretty...
Read moreWe had an absolutely delightful dining experience at this Italian restaurant! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The appetizers were delicious, and the bread was simply amazing—fresh, warm, and full of flavor. For the main course, we enjoyed pasta with mussels and a customized pizza, which was a fun touch as you can choose all your favorite ingredients. Both dishes were outstanding!
For dessert, we indulged in homemade tiramisu and three scoops of ice cream—pure bliss! And, of course, we can’t forget the wine. The Primitivo was the perfect pairing and rounded off the meal beautifully.
The chef is incredibly friendly, and the service was excellent. We felt so welcomed and comfortable throughout our visit. We will definitely be...
