Sa Tierrassa — Restaurant in Sant Llorenç des Cardassar

I had a bite in there with my partner - and unfortunately for both of us it was one of the worst food we have ever tried. He had a cheeseburger- the bun was red, which is creative but unfortunately the colouring was done with low quality and the bun was like a sponge, meat was undercooked but the worst thing was that bacon was raw, and on top of it was a piece of cooked ham. Tasted absolutely horrible. I have ordered 3 Tapas- fried potatoes, shrimps and champignons. Unfortunately everything tasted very oily as the food was served in a bowl of oil filled to the top. Shrimps definitely needed much better seasoning, same goes for champignons. Potatoes were most probably the ones soy but in a frozen package and of a really poor quality. Service was quite fast but even after my husband mentioned that he is really unsatisfied with the burger the reply was that nobody has complained about burgers ever before, absolutely nothing was done. We just decided to pay and leave but wanted to warn everyone- it is not a cheap place (our bill was around 50€ in total) and could most definitely find something much better to eat and enjoy. We had dinner there because the restaurant looks cool. What a mistake… we took following tapas: Octopus, Chorizo, Meatballs and Tortilla. The octopus was was cooked in water (not grilled), obviously not cooked today, re-heated and very chewy. The potatoes underneath were overcooked, in plain water and tasteless. The chorizo was just ok but less good than the one at our hotel al breakfast. The meatballs were tasteless, in a cup of oil and made with bad quality meat. The tortilla was ok. Oh, I forgot, while waiting for the dishes, they offered this tomato and olive oil mix, Spanish speciality (I forgot the name). It was so salty that it could not be eat, even on bread. In summary, my wife ate just one piece of Octopus and a quarter meatball. I mane an effort and ate my half as it was so embarrassing. And on top of this, the staff was not friendly at all and not caring. The reply when asking for the WiFi password was very rude and needed to ask several times to get the bill. We have just returned from 2 weeks in cala millor and ate here 3 times. The staff are friendly and loved having a chat with us. The man in charge made a fuss of the boys and was lovely to us, even remembering us on our 2nd visit when I couldn't remember seeing him on our first visit. Entrecot steak(sirloin) is lovely. One of the best steaks I have had. We saw someone complain about her sirloin steak but she didn't order a sirloin and from what we saw there was nothing wrong with it. We had steaks, Pizzas, lobster and prawns. All very nice. Waitress and manager lovely and waiting 30 minutes for nice hot food is not a problem for us.
