Where to start... I've been here many times because I'm celiac and there are not many places to eat in SC with a celiac menu. Many times a couple of waiters (not all ) don't seem eager to work and every single time I ask for the bill they just never bring it and need to go ask it at the bar myself after waiting 10 plus minutes (restaurant almost empty most of the times this happened) and I'm not talking about once or twice but I recall now 4 times in 3 months i've been to this place. Yesterday I went with family and friends and asked the first waiter to bake my pizza longer due to the dough for the gluten free pizza being very soggy if they bake it at a normal pizza time (Kitchen should realize this but they dont). I ask another waiter to bake it more and he takes my plate away puts it on the kitchen counter which I can CLEARLY see and brings it back under a minute (not putting it in the oven) and hoping I wouldnt notice but I did. Another waiter comes by and I ask him again to do the same simple thing. Now the pizza comes back 15 min later and everyone at my table has now finished eating. I get it back and he says it was in the oven all that time.... If this was the case it would've been charred. More excuses from them and bad looks constantly. There is one really good waiter who really knows his work but sadly that doesn't go for all. Sadly I won't be returning to this place... Understand they have some good staff and some good food no doubt but the service is absolute trash. If you get the waiters who are mostly attending the terrace you will be fine and they are really nice but the guys inside in the...
Read moreThe worst restaurant ever. When we came, first thing we faced is unpleasant server’s face and cold “wait”. Fell, nevermind, we ordered food. But then we’ve been waiting for pizza for about 30 min, and the resultant wasn’t full at all. Then our waiter went delivering pizza, and no one, not even one soul took care of us after that. By the way, it says In the menu barbecue pizza goes with onion and pepper, and it came only with meat and red sauce. We had to ask another server about it, she said it is in the sauce which seems like she lied. Sauce is sauce. Yesterday we ate at the same restaurant in another city and our friends had pepper and onion on their pizza. Then after our server left we had to ask ourselves about every dish we ordered. Fine, they brought everything except for the dessert we ordered. We asked one waiter, she said “ok” and never returned to us. We asked another one, he said the same thing and never returned too. We had to ask the third one😂 at this point, we were full with “ok, 5 minutes” and just decided to pay and leave. The service is THE WORST. By the way, a manager and other servers were just hanging out at the right “separate” side of the resultant and no one gave a damn about us. We will never ever...
Read moreI don't get it, reading some negative reviews. Do you people go out often to eat? What is it not to like?
Anyway.
We sat for just a bite, so we thought at least, in the midday. But when we saw the menu and read the reviews, we turned it into an early dinner 😁 Starter to share and main dish. Wow. The presentation, the quality of the ingredients used, the quantity, the seasoning, the combinations. Just another level. My compliments to the Chef.
There is more than enough staff, and very very experienced ones to take care of you. Even too many, and that's meant as a compliment. We sat outside, as we thought, ok, just another tourist trap for a bite, we didn't expect that level of professionalism.
We flew for just one day over to Tenerife from Gran Canaria and we're seriously thinking of flying back in a few days just to have a proper dinner, inside, with a bottle of wine. Which, btw, is absolutely astonishingly decorated. So, bottom line, what a pleasant surprise. Price wise? Uuhm, I live in northwest Europe...for us those are just normal prices that you normally pay at the neighborhood restaurant.
Ask for a glass of "Finca San Martin Rioja"!
