Restaurante la Pandorga — Restaurant in Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Terrible experience. We have approached this restaurant for lunch and where told by the staff we can have a table for 8 in 1 hour so we decided to take a walk around the village and came back in 40 minutes. After waiting for 1 hour and 20 minutes to be seated the waiter came out and very rude said that the restaurant is closed, even if on internet is open from 12 till night without brake. The other 2 couples that took a seat before us just left after 30 minutes of waiting for someone to bring them at least a bottle of water and some bread. Never happened. Surprise, we've passed in front of the restaurant after 30 minutes we've been rudely said they are closed and they were open and receiving guests. Terrible experience and bad educated staff. Will never recommend or be back myself to this place. There are few more very good fish restaurants at 5 minute walking distance from this one. Just choose any other you like and enjoy being treated good...

One of the worst restaurants I've ever been. The service is slow. the food is expensive and not all that fresh and tasty. We had the fish and the steak - the fish was greasy and flavourless, and the steak was hard to chew. On top of that, they served bread without asking us, and then charged 2 euros for it, not to mention they added tip to the bill. When I confronted the waiter with that, suddenly the only word he knew was "Espanol?", And laughed in my face.

A very bad place, and by the looks of it all the good reviews are from their local friends. If that so, do us all a favour and serve only them - leave the tourists and the good name of Tenerife outside of...

The place and service is nice. But ihey serve a very bad paella.... Paella should taste like fish, be almost burned on the bottom, but this one tasted only of some kind of spices and nothing else. It looks amazing and it have some seafood, but pick something else from the menu. May be it's our Spanish friends who spoiled us, but before trying their homemade paella I could never understand why people like it so much. Yes, paella as a dish can be very very good if they use proper fish for the stock... in this restaurant it was not the case. The rice-soup had...
