Ok. So I’ve been working hard all summer. I decided I need a break. I take a walk down Santa E because it’s lovely down there. I decided to grab a bite to eat. Thought I’d like to sit and look at some boats. I find a nice quiet “ empty “ restaurant. This one. I sit down with my 2 very well behaved dogs and we order a drink and some food. Kitchen wasn’t open for another 10 minutes but that’s cool I’m relaxing. About 5 minutes later a family roll up with a screaming child. This kid was going for it. Now instead of walking around for a while until the kid calms down they decide they want to eat. So they go to the waitress and ask for a table. Now bear in mind the place is totally empty. She sits them right behind me. I am now 3 foot away from a screaming child. The kid screams and cries the whole time. The parents make a poor effort to calm it down yknow because parents need to drink alcohol and that’s the most important thing. They walk it about for about a minute then sit down. It’s still screaming and crying. Like full volume. I then decide to leave. I ask for my bill. I get my bill and then take it to the owner. A guy in a t-shirt he got from baby gap. I tell him I can’t eat here with that noise right behind me. He says “ they are paying “ takes my money and goes off to get me chance. I then complain to the waiting staff that he only wants money and doesn’t seem to care about service. Then one of the female staff members tried to cover up for him by saying “ we are all about families here in Spain “. Clearly not true because the guy just told me if they pay more they can make more noise. The guy then got in my face and told me I could never eat there again. I told him I still hadn’t eaten here. He then tried to fight me. Until he realized I wasn’t scared of him. A tiny guy in a child’s t shirt. Oh and this time the other family had left as well as they had realized they had ruined my experience. So basically guy in a child’s shirt lost 5 customers in 10 minutes all because he couldn’t organize his seating properly. If he had just sat the screaming child away from the man who was clearly trying to have...
Read moreAwful. I sat down in an empty restaurant to have a quiet meal and relax. The place was empty until a family with a screaming child came in. And guess were the waitress chose to seat them. In an EMPTY restaurant. That’s right. She sat them right behind me. I was less than 3 foot away from a screaming child in an empty restaurant. I canceled my food order and the guy who I guess is the owner. Well fed chap in a baby gap t shirt. Told me they were paying so they could do what they wanted and I was I the wrong for not wanting to eat with a screaming child. But he only cares about money. His staff tried to cover for him. Saying “ we’re all about family “. Not true the portly fellow in the child’s t shirt just said it’s all about money. They then banned me from coming back. Oh no ! Where will I find another over priced sub par restaurant with poor management skills in Ibiza ?
In the end. I left. The family left and the owner lost out on 5 meals all because they can’t organize their seating.
The place was empty. And I’m just supposed to sit and let a child scream in my ear because you care about money more than customer care.
Oh and the big fellow in the white child’s t shirt wanted to fight me when I said I didn’t want to ever come back.
And as you can see with their reply. they totally missed the point. The restaurant was empty. You could have sat them anywhere. Your restaurant manager was rude and aggressive. He also tried to fight me if you remember. Because I had the audacity to not want a screaming child right behind me in a EMPTY RESTAURANT. Clueless. You lost 5 customers because you couldn’t manage an empty restaurant. You threatened a customer who complained. And you still think you’re in the right. Holy cow. Lack of awareness.
I was having a lovely day. But you guys ruined it with your poor service and...
Read moreCame here for a drink after seeing a review that said they had the best tapas. The tapas here are very mediocre/almost nonexistent. More of a restaurant than a tapas bar. Over priced but you are paying for the views. I’d skip this place. Only reason for the two stars instead of one is mostly nice staff.
Unfortunately don’t see a way to reply to their reply- the two stars are for the fact that the food simply wasn’t good. It wasn’t worth the price, sorry if that wasn’t clear! Happily pay high prices for food of quality, not half dried out...
