by far the most delicious food i have had in a VERY long time. WHAT a GEM of a restaurant. We were taken there by a local friend who knows his stuff. We also let him order so I can't say I looked at the menu, but what ever was brought to the table was beautifully presented and simply divine. I don't take pictures of my food , so I am going by memory here: we tried the oysters, then a fish dish in a spicy sauce (good to dip your bread in afterwards) , then my favourite dish: the stuffed peppers (cant get them out of my head, and it's been 2 weeks since we visited) , some sweetbreads and some other dishes which I cannot remember as we we were a large group and there was a lot of chatting (laughing and even singing) in-between the dining, but I can assure you the food was of the highest quality. We also had cocktails and then wine with our meal and mezcal as a digestif. The guys who run it are also music people and the music playing in the background was also great. the chef came out Xavi I believe is his name and we complimented on his skills ! a very cool spot, do...
Read moreA near miss - could have easily been 5 stars but too many issues with the menu. Only one choice of beer (no bottled beer including no sin gluten, surprising for am establishment of this type). Two white wines available by the glass (wine menu itself was expensive), both had high resin content and were distinctly unrefreshing - there are times I like a challenging white wine, but not on a hot evening. Friend had a glass of rose which was somewhat sweet. Some of the dishes were delicious, others OK, but I did take issue with the baked cauliflower (€16) - a vegan staple of many restaurants now - I've paid less and been served half a cauliflower. Here it was about four or five florets. The desert was not good - melon pavlova sounds interesting but what came out was a very small piece of merengue, sat soggy in melon juice with and a dollop of cream on top surrounded by bland melon pieces. Bill was €44 per person but we left as the restaurant describes itself......

The girl who took our order was super nice. By mistake she understood we asked for a dish we didn’t order, and when it came to the table we polite said it wasn’t ours. The owner or manager, a blond lady, insisted we order that dish when we didn’t order. She came 3 times at the table saying it was written in the order, like WHAT?! She was SUPER RUDE, she started to call attention to the young lady she was serving in front of everybody, and making a scene because she miss-understood a dish in the order. She ruined all the good vibe that place has. I would never go back again, and honestly don’t recommend this place.
Also very expensive for what they offer. The wines some they don’t sell the bottle, only by glass. Pfff...
