Rias - Restaurant — Restaurant in Santa Eulària des Riu

We just love this place We have been in Santa Eulalia/Ibiza this June.  Tried a few different restaurants on beach (totally overpriced and very small portions) and then found Ria's at Athenea! We have 2 children so it's important for us to have a place where we can sit at beach, see the kids and also have a relaxing time. Athenea is on first line in Eulalia, it has a wide range of fantastic food and its' very reasonable priced. Food is homemade and has  great german and spanish dishes on menue. Our waiter was so nice and helpful, we requested some changes for the dishes like different sauces, no carbs more salad and it was no problem at all. A must in this place is the Schnitzel (typical german/austrian dish), the wok with beef and also the steak! Quick and excellent service, fab atmosphere and the bill does not break the bank. Hier wird man betrogen und das ganz schön unfair. Zunächst das Gute: Schöner Ausblick auf das Meer hat man vom Rias und es sieht sehr gemütlich aus. Bedienung ist nett, Essen ist etwas teurer und nicht wirklich etwas Besondere, aber man wird satt. Was aber überhaupt nicht geht ist der Betrug mit den Bierpreisen. Gezaptes Bier gibt es gemäß Karte in 0,3 l und 0,5 l. Wir mögen nach dem Strand gerne ein gezaptes Mahon, darum gleich in "grande", groß = 0,5l. Wir bekamen das Bier in einem Sangria-Glas ohne Füllstrich. Das war schon merkwürdig. Das Bier ist auch etwas teurer als anderswo, aber für einen gemütlichen Platz und eine schönes Ambiente zahlen wir gerne etwas mehr. Das "Grande"-Bier kam uns aber sehr klein vor, darum haben wir mal ein kleines Bier bestellt und das Glas umgefüllt. Das kleine Glas passte natürlich un das Sangria-Bierglas ... aber es war kein 0,2 l mehr Platz!! Unfassbar, aber man zahlt einen höheren Preis für ein anderes Glas!!! Die Bedienung haben wir natürlich darauf angesprochen und sie wurde sehr verlegen. Ja, das ist wirklich so. Für 4,90 Euro bekommt man max. 0,4 l Bier anstatt der 0,5 l, wie es in der Karte steht!! Leider ist das so, meinte die nette Service-Kraft und wir könnten uns beim Manager beschweren, aber der sei (natürlich) nicht da. Jeder muss verdienen, keine Frage, aber so ist es schon abzocke. Wer damit kein Problem hat ( oder ohnehin lieber Cocktails trinkt) kann das Rias besuchen. Wir meiden diese Lokation und gehen ein paar Schritte weiter, dorthin, wo wir genauso am Meer sitzen können und tatsächlich 0,5 l Bier in einem...

Best pizza and truly amazing cocktails. The cocktails are beautifully presented, could have spent days trying them out. The restaurant sits right on the front with amazing views over the water and inside is something else. Poshest bathrooms ever. Staff are helpful but if busy thr efficiency is more important than standing around chatting although they are friendly they just have a lot of people to serve.
