Restaurant Oli — Restaurant in Santa Eulària des Riu

We had previously visited Restaurante Oli in 2017 so decided to go back this year. I really wished we hadn’t bothered. I decided to change the main course (large prawns) before it had been prepared as I realised that the prawns were served in their shells; I also indicated that I would select a different dish. I was keen to ensure that the food was not wasted hence I cancelled the order ASAP! To my disappointment the dish I had clearly cancelled were served. The fish ordered by my partner was supposed to be boned yet was full of bones!! The (beared) manager was less than helpful when we tried to be constructive about our experience. I was grilled about my recollection of events which made it clear to me the manager didn’t believe me. Reluctantly he took off the cost of my main course but not before indicating that “perhaps this isn’t you type of restaurant”. I was frankly staggered by this response as I’ve been coming to ibiza for over 18 years and not experienced such rudeness. The manager also indicated that he’d NEVER had any complaints; other reviews appear to contradict this fact. We won’t be returning to this restaurant. De vergüenza lo que nos ha pasado hoy a una mesa de 14 personas de un cumpleaños (éramos todos adultos y varios "adolescentes" de 21-26 años, no somos unos niños). En la mesa un calor que te hace sudar sin moverte (no tenían aire ni ventiladores), los dos camareros que nos han atendido han sido maleducados (uno bastante más que el otro hay que destacar). Al servirnos la comida, se olvidaron un plato y confundieron varias peticiones, mi comida en lo personal estaba seca para ser un calamar plancha de 24€. El más maleducado, al pedirle mi abuela la tarta (cuando aún había que recoger la mesa de los primeros platos) ha dicho "te traigo la tarta y tú te apañas" dejándonos caer que hiciéramos hueco nosotros, tras esto al decirle que no teníamos prisa que solo la pedíamos para que lo tuvieran en cuenta, pero que se llevaran primero los platos sucios, le contesta en palabras textuales: "somos pocos camareros, si yo me pongo a recogerte la mesa, ¿quién me va a sacar los platos, tú?" (Estas cosas ojalá tenerlas grabadas me hago viral seguro). En fin, dejamos pasar todo esto, pasa el rato, nos comemos la tarta... pedimos la cuenta: 370€ (nada muy raro entendiendo que estamos en Ibiza, en verano, pedimos dos sangrias... aún así, barato no es), pagamos, y una de las chicas amigas del cumple le dice al camarero más "majo" ¿perdona, habrá unos chupitos de la casa? (Lo típico a lo que cualquier restaurante o bar invita siempre cuando te has dejado un buen dinero en su establecimiento), y el tío con toda su cara y su poca vergüenza dice: "Normalmente no hay, así que depende de lo buena que sea la propina" ¿¿ perdona cómo que propina colega, cuando te la has ganado?? Básicamente nos ha dicho con otras palabras "si lo pagáis os lo pongo si no pa casa solo os habéis dejado 400€ en cenar. En general muy descontentos todos con la gestión, con el servicio, con el ambiente y con la comida aunque si intento salvar algo, la comida un poco más caliente te la paso. Ahí os dejo mi experiencia para que valoréis, podéis ir y probar igual tenéis suerte y los cogéis con otro humor, nosotros desde luego...

The food and atmosphere are great, i really like the feeling of the restaurant, but the service is bad, they talk far to much and distract themselves rather then paying attention to the tables and clients, I'm fine if u take this job in a relaxed way, but I believe you should do this only after you've checked that your clients are satisfied, but to be fair, I like the restaurant a lot, and have gone here many times, if the the people in charge of the service paid more attention to our demands, I would definitely say its one of my favorite chill, relaxing and comfortable restaurants in Ibiza.
