We had one of the most disappointing experiences at the Pacha Restaurant in Ibiza. We paid €640 to reserve a table for four, with our dinner booking scheduled for 9:00 PM. Due to unavoidable delays, we arrived at 9:24 PM. Just NINE minutes past what we were later told was a “15 minute grace period.”
Nowhere in the booking terms and conditions was there any mention of this strict cut off, nor were we contacted or warned that our reservation was at risk. Upon arrival, we were told that our table had been given away, and we would not be seated or served any food despite the fact that we had already paid €160 per person for the dinner experience.
They were completely unwilling to offer a refund or any alternative solution. The only reason we were eventually sat at the bar was because WE asked, it was not offered by the staff as a way to accommodate us. Even then, they said we could only order drinks, not food, despite us having already paid.
To make matters worse, staff falsely gave us hope that by 11 PM there might be a chance of being seated if other guests didn’t show. While we waited, we observed that a whole section of tables remained empty, and even after 11 PM, only a few of them were filled. Clearly, seating us was possible, or at the very least be offered food at the bar, but they just chose not to.
It’s baffling and upsetting that a premium venue like Pacha would treat guests this way, especially over a four minute delay and without clear communication or fair resolution. We felt dismissed, misled, and ultimately robbed of a night we were really looking forward to.
Would not recommend this experience to anyone. save your money and go somewhere that respects its guests and communicates...
Read moreDo not waste your money going here for a meal....We arrived in good time and were shown to our seats, which we were able to choose. From there the whole experience went down hill. The service was very poor. After about 20 minutes, we were asked if we were ready to order, which we said yes to. However, they only took our starters order for all we were ready to order our mains and drinks. Another 5 minutes had past before we were able to finally order our drinks and main meal. The drinks took an age to come and they had forgotten one of the drinks. When we asked where the drink was the waitress was very rude and dismissive. Basically shrugged her shoulders, as if to say I don't know or care. Realising their mistake, you would have thought they would have quickly gone and come straight back with the missing drink but again we had to wait for it. The starters came after another 20 minutes or so, and were ok. However, when the mains came they were that bad that we each left them. We had finally had enough and asked for the bill. When we got the bill, and to our annoyance, we had been charged €35 for the service!!! Prior to settling the bill, we asked for the service charge to be removed which they said they did but when I checked my bank account they hadn't....Until the service and food improves massively, stay away, there are a number of much better restaurants...
Read moreWould we return? No. Was it worth it? Yes. The food was excellent, service immaculate and atmosphere was great.
However, while booking you should be given the option of choosing your table. Indoor or outdoor, or smoking or non smoking area. Our dinner was spoiled by cigarette smoke from another guest. Also the outdoor tables do not all have fans, it was too hot. You are told there is a dress code for the restaurant , so we dressed as asked, yet in the restaurant people were dressed in beach wear and flip flops Note club does not open till midnight. Book a table if entering club at around 22:30hrs. Do try the cocktails ( dare you try the Tesla) Direct access to club before the regular punters queuing outside. Note we had our entrances to club discounted from final bill. Minimum of 100€ spend per person in restaurant for...
