Cas Padrí — Restaurant in Santa Margalida

The price is not justified by the quality of the food nor the standard of the service. We had to order the same thing several times before getting them, every time we asked again the waiter would act as if we hadn’t asked before. They billed us for items that never arrived. A third of the mussel shells were empty and another third minuscule. Steak was rare instead of medium, when we asked to cook it further we were told that was a Spanish medium rare. Never in my numerous times ordering steak in Spain have I received a rare steak instead of a medium rare. An “of course we will cook it further” would have to suffice. We have been there three times during our stay. The food is really good (a bit expensive compared to other restaurants at the same level) and the location has a great sea view. Unfortunately the service declined from good to below average from our first visit to the last. After the first visit I would have given a 5 star rating, the second was at 4 starts, the last was the worst, as the service took super long and the staff has served the entree together with the main dish and it took ages to re-order some drinks. We ordered two pizzas to takeaway. After waiting for 45 minutes we went in to find out what was going on, only to find that the pizzas had been left on the side, and noone knew. I was then asked if I would like them to be reheated, which I of course declined. So, the waiter was kind enough to have 2 new ones prepared. After a total of about 1 hour 10 minutes of waiting, we received our pizzas, took them home and opened them. One of the worst pizzas I have ever seen or eaten.
