Sa mexicana (Son Bauló) — Restaurant in Santa Margalida

TLDR: Veggie and vegan options, friendly staff, great food, craft beer

We found this place early in our stay but didn't venture in until our last day and wish we had gone in earlier. Extensive mexican menu with typical choices for fillings including tofu option for veggies or vegan. Staff are very accommodating and happy to make changes to food where needed. One of our party didn't want tofu and neither of us wanted cheese and they were more than happy to do this for us. Sadly I didn't get a picture of the burrito but it was well filled and very tasty. They also had a wide selection of sauces to put on your food. The staff are Spanish and are able to converse in English for those who may be put off by the language barrier. It's was very nice. Drinks are exceptional! Girlfriend had pina colada and I had beer from tap. Both were great! Had a starter which were very tasty and flavourful. Very fast service as well, nearly no wait time for food, while ordering food, drinks got to the table, starters super fast and chain to main course. Only minor minus is that burritos were a bit bland, but everyone has different tastes, for two people with starters and burritos and drinks we paid 52€ which is a good deal! I would recommend this place....

Woeful experience, food was stone cold and warmed up from freezer, the chicken taco’s gave me and my partner food poisoning, worst restaurant in this area

The burrito was also stone cold, only thing that was warm was the quesadilla which my 3 year old had, and after this had diarrhoea for 2 days,
