I’m speechless. I visited Spain for the first time as a Solo traveller. A local who I had met in Alicante recommended an Octopus dish from this restaurant and since I was also staying in a hotel in Santa Pola. On Saturday the 9th of November I took my time and went to try this “amazing Octopus dish”. I got in and no one offered me any chair and I just stood there looking so lost. Eventually somebody attended me and I told them that I would li Ike a table. The guy looked at me and asked if there are other people joining me. So I advised him I’m dining Solo. He game me a menu and he asked me to check it first and if I’m happy he will give me a table. I said I’m alright then offered me a sit. I sat there for over 15min not getting any service. Terrible restaurant. The steak was inedible, composed almost entirely of veins, hard and almost raw, even though it was ordered medium rare. Frozen fries from the supermarket. The octopus is edible, but that's its only advantage. For €22 you would expect more than just that it would be cooked and sprinkled with paprika powder and nothing else. Potatoes overcooked and tasteless. Prices too high, when asked for a glass of water, the waiter gives the whole bottle only with the intention of adding €3 to the bill for it. Throughout the meal, waiters stand right next to the table above the guests' heads, even though the room is empty. It's not very comfortable. The decor seemed to be stuck in the 90's,...

Went there without table reservation on a sunday evening, they able to accommodate us, the restaurant is kind small for a huge number of guests, for people with hearing aid it would be too loud. the staff are friendly, they speak english and even have english menu available. we ordered tuna and steak, and both of these are very good, the table already served with a bread and nuts upon arrival and the bread included in your bill.

PS. the Entrecôte is a big portion for a good price, the blue fin tuna is very delicious, for the portions and the price it is reasonable....
