If I could give this place zero stars I would.
Our table was dirty, not once did someone check in to see how our experience was. We don’t speak much Spanish at all, so it was difficult to order and then the waiter kept getting angry and walking away from us. We ordered the set menu that stated it was £34 for a meal that could be shared between a minimum of 2 people. However when the bill came we were charged £34 per person (we were a group of 4). We tried to explain to the waiter that the menu didn’t state it was a per person at all. And then instead of trying to resolve the situation the waiter berated us and kept saying ‘do you really think all of this was £34?’ Whilst kissing his teeth and shouting at us in regard to how we were going to pay. They kept trying to say that the menu was clear and understandable but English is my first language and it still didn't make any sense. I’m not sure if they were trying to run a tourist scam or were just plain rude. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who is a tourist. The view is stunning but doesn’t make up for the low quality service and food. The food was just seasoned with salt and way too much...
Read moreI was so hungry when I got to the shop because I didn’t have breakfast and then I walked for 10km before I arrived to this restaurant, so maybe I was a bit biased about the service.
It wasn’t too busy but the waitress wasn’t very attentive, and she left me hanging for a good 10 minutes before coming to take my order. And as soon as she wrote down the order, she turned around and left even though I wanted to ask for more things.
The food did arrive very quickly. I ordered a pincho de tortilla Bonita and an avocado toast. I was prepared to spend more than €10 but both were just €8. I firmly believe that everything in Madrid is just overpriced. The tortilla was very well made, and the avocado toast came with a big portion of complements like fresh cheese, grated tomato sauce and some walnuts. The food was fantastic, and what’s even better was the view.
I highly recommend trying this place out if you are on a hike or just...
Read moreThe location is beautiful and when we ate there in April the food was spectacular. However this time our dishes were not as they should be even though the ingredients were very fresh. The artichoke was too sweet, the rabas not fried properly & the rice too salty. The staff was again very friendly, but very slow. For the kind of prices they ask this shouldn't happen. Also but this is a personal note, I don't think it correct to bring one child in the restaurant a gift, while there is two other kids also in the restaurant seeing this happening. This kind of favourism in my eyes is very unpolite and not correct, no matter how famous the father...
