McDonald's — Restaurant in Santander

Advertised as opening at 11am however we arrived at 11am and it was still closed, no staff visible inside and no lights on, then around 11.10 we saw a member of staff outside which when I walked over and asked they said they were open.

Not sure if this was a one off or a regular thing as this was our first visit to this particular branch.

Other than that, it's what you expect from McDonald's anywhere around the world, average food prepared averagely well with little interest from the staff.

In our particular order today we experienced fries (hot), chicken nuggets (hot), chicken sandwich (hot), Big Mac's (cold!),...

Giving them a 3 stars on their food... I'm not rating burgers, salads, etc.... Just their muffins. I'm a fan of their coffee and Chai, and today I decided to pair them with the chocolate and salted caramel muffins (they looked great). When we were eating them at home, we were quite disappointed, as they do not taste as good as they looked. Pretty much they had no flavor, it was just a fluffy, but tasteless muffin... Mcdonald's you can do better... Or even just resell the muffins...

España es uno de los países donde mejor se come del mundo, cuna de la dieta mediterránea tan alabada por las organizaciones de la salud como la más recomendable para el correcto funcionamiento del organismo. Tenemos comida para todos los gustos, así como numerosos restaurantes provenientes de otras culturas donde también se hace comida casera sumamente nutritiva y de calidad. Teniendo todo esto en cuenta me sigo preguntando ¿por qué diantres siguen teniendo tanto éxito estas franquicias americanas que ofrecen comida de pésima calidad, de dudosa procedencia y a precios elevadísimos? Porque si fuera barato entendería la inclinación de tantas personas a comer estos diabólicos alimentos, pero es que te dejas 15€, lo que te vale un menú de muchísima calidad en cualquier bar español, por un par de hamburguesas cuya carne se asemeja más a un trozo de cartón, y unas patatas ultraprocesadas con un sabor a químico que tira para atrás.
