Food: I ordered two dishes this time. The first was fried banana chips with shrimp, served with a green homemade guacamole. The shrimp weren’t simply boiled — they appeared to be cooked in a flavorful sauce, and tasted wonderfully fresh. The guacamole was a bit sour and refreshing, a great appetizer to start with. I’d recommend finishing this dish quickly though, as the banana chips soften easily once soaked in the sauce and lose their crunch. The second dish was sea bass, which suited my Chinese palate perfectly while still carrying strong local flavors. The sauce contained tomato and onion, giving it a hint of spice and a distinctive sourness. That’s the charm of homemade sauces — they taste fresh and lively, unlike mass-produced ones. I recommend eating the fish together with the sauce, mint, and coriander at one bite; the sauce enhances the freshness of the fish, while the mint balances out the slightly salty flavor. As someone with a big appetite, I also found the portion size very satisfying, unlike other places where I’d spend €50 and still feel only 80% full.

Service: I really appreciated the service — attentive but not overly enthusiastic. A lovely surprise came when the waitress lady noticed I was struggling a bit with the knife and fork while eating the whole fish, and kindly brought me a pair of chopsticks. That small gesture meant a lot — not just because it solved a problem, but because it showed genuine care. It’s rare for a non-Asian restaurant to have chopsticks ready, and it speaks to their thoughtful hospitality toward guests from all over the world. That kind of consideration moves me far more than just hearing “hello” or “nihao.”

Atmosphere: At first glance, the restaurant looks modest, but its simple design hides some charming details. I especially liked the cat-themed wall art and the menu design. If you’re looking for a fine-dining, upscale experience, this might not be the place for you. But if you value warmth, friendliness, and great food, I can’t...
Read moreWe were in the mood for something different and Casa De Las Flores did not disappoint! Spanish-Mexican-Chilean mash-up done well. Food: These guys did not cut any corners when it came to ingredients and delivered some delicious food. Day 1: Starter: fresh Guacamole with banana crisps and shrimp (not mixed in). Simple and tasty, just like mom makes it: avocados, onions, cilantro, tomatoes and lime. Scallops: wow! Burst of flavor! Fish: salmon with pineapple Terriaki sauce and served with a side of white rice on a banana leaf. Drinks: beer 🍺 Day 2: Starter: Guacamole because why not! It tasted so good we couldn’t resist. Pizza: Casa De Las Flores Pizza! Wow! Sweet Cherry tomatoes and zucchini flowers 😋 Ribs: marinated ribs served with tortillas and sauces. Pro-tip: order the guacamole and save some for this dish. You’re welcome 😉
The atmosphere is small and cozy! They are very friendly and accommodating which makes for a wonderful experience - it’s like being invited to your friends garden party. We look forward to coming back and recommend this place if you want to get away from the regular...
Read moreGiving this restaurant 2 stars for food, as we went in here earlier this week, tempted by a sign outside reading vegetable and prawn paella being served. The paella was OK, served in a square metal tin, which i thought odd, but ok lets go with it, maybe it's one of those alternative ways of serving food that everyone is into these days. It consisted of veg paella with a single halved prawn on top, and a scallop. Husband complained to me that there weren't enough prawns, but I didn't mind. Anyway, imagine my surprise today when I visit Mercadona by the marina and in the chilled ready meal section is this very dish (sans prawn and scallop) for 3 Euro, instead of the 16 Euro we paid in the restaurant. And it even comes in the same square metal tin! I bought it and ate it at our apartment, and can confirm it's the same dish. I don't object to paying 16 Euro for paella, but at least make it fresh on site, and not mark up a supermarket ready meal by 500% and bung a...
