I was looking for somewhere to have a seafood platter and I knew of this place as I had been here a few times before. Even though they don’t have a seafood platter on the menu we were advised by Elizabeth from Mollys bar to give them a list and they will do it. The very next day we went in with a list of what we wanted which included Turbot, hake, Dorada, mussels, prawns, octopus, squid and various other items. We booked in for 48hrs later and I can honestly say it was the greatest seafood platter I have EVER had. The octopus was amazing, the turbot outstanding, the mussels and prawns were cooked in this beautiful sauce. Everything on the platter was a 10 out of 10. I went here with my wife for a drink after playing crazy golf. Intending to have one drink and go elsewhere. We enjoyed it that much, we had a few more than one. Asking the waiter if you needed to book, he said only if having the paella. So we left with the intention of booking it for Sunday 17th. We forgot.... So on Sunday we went early, 7.30ish, for a drink and a good look at the menu. The waiter recognize us from the other night. This is the best restaurant in Cala d’or. Not because of the food or the atmosphere but the people! The nicest family runs this place, the whole thing is a family affair. We arrived to our hotel after 20 hours of travel tired and hungry. The hotel kitchen was closed so we walked to the closest restaurant and boy are we glad we did. The whole place was lively, the server Miguel brightened our mood and the food was delicious! We ended up coming back every night if our 5 night stay and they became like family!
