Restaurante Paparazzi — Restaurant in Santanyí

Most of the food was good but my wife's chicken ceaser salad was terrible. When she explained why the waitress "disagreed" and argued then stomped away to speak with the manager. The issue was the chicken was deep fried and breaded instead of fresh (which was not explained at point of ordering or on the menu), there were also lots of croutons (too many) in the bottom of the bowl (not on top of the salad) which were like soggy bread from the dressing. The restaurant suffered in general from being too busy, there didn't appear to be any control over how many tables were being seated (to help the kitchen) and they also do take aways. As a result of this the food took too long and many people were sat there waiting for food for a ridiculous length of time. The pizzas were excellent and the restaurant is well finished with comfy furniture, prices are reasonable. The restaurant deducted half of the salad cost instead of the whole amount but then (ironically) they offered us some free drinks instead. Really they should have deducted the cost of the salad. We declined the drink and left, we had been at the restaurant some considerable time at this point and...

I'm not one to usually moan however. We order e a couple of drinks and ordered the Chefs Tapas board for a light lunch.

I'm not a massive seafood lover and usually opt for something else however I do like the occasional king prawn, calamari and other dishes. Our chefs tapas board did come with a king prawn which looked delicious only to find out when biting into it that the chef hadn't removed the poo sack and instead of having a bite of just prawn all we had was a mouth full of grit and poo. The rest of the board was ok but nothing to shout out about.

Furthermore the service was very slow and not very friendly, but I do imagine it was down to the lack of staffing and just one host by himself and in a bad mood due to him being the only one serving customers in what seemed a busy restaurant.

Worst customer service received. There was a que already, but we already had a table inside. I stopped at the entrance, out of respect for the customers waiting outside and explained the waitress that we already have a table and asked if we can proceed. Her answer was: You are interrupting me- she was waiting for a pos trasaction to be completed, I don t know why I assumed that she can think while she was just standing. She saud that there is a line and that she is waiting for the pos to give a completed message and will get back to me. She finished the transaction and proceeded to another table for another pos transaction. I went and I said to her that we will proceed to our table. Her answer: wow, interrupting me again! Me: well, you said you will get back to me but what you did was just turn your back at me. Her: okay,bye,ciao! I didn't even go to my table, which was free, waiting for us if this is the way you are treating your customers. One of the poorest customer...
