We ordered two dishes, one with meat "Solomillo de tenera lavplancha", and "Bela romina" pizza. The meat was ok, but the pizza was the worst pizza we ever tasted. The ingredients on the pizza were cheese, tomatoes (not tomato sauce, but raw tomatoes) and jamon iberico. Pizza dough was dry and hard, stale as if the pizza had been sitting for two days until it hardened. "Cheese" was disgusting, it had neither taste nor texture, absolutely tasteless and flat. There was maybe one whole slice of ham on the whole pizza, chopped into tiny pieces, a piece on each slice. Final ingredient, perhaps even worse than the cheese, was raw tomato rings, warm gooey raw tomatoes under a thin layer of generic cheese. We didn't manage to eat even half of this pizza, which we were properly charged for. The restaurant is Italian and we came to it because, don't know how, it has so many good reviews. However, when you look at the reviews in a little more detail, there are also bad reviews, to which the owner has a habit of responding in a very unprofessional way for someone who runs a business and is engaged in catering activities. I don't intend to read the owner's reply, since he obviously doesn't know how to accept criticism and is arguing...
Read moreGood dinner option for a non-central Italian restaurant in Seville. Front of house was cool and welcoming. Ordered the tasty Duck Pâté with homemade bread rolls (kudos to the pizza chef) & garnish salad which was exactly as expected, so thumbs up for my starter. For the main course, I got the Pizza Capricciosa with all the right high-quality ingredients for toppings, but the pizza dough itself wasn’t matching the upper decker quality, as I could not get the usual olive oil & yeast aftertaste that is a must if you’re following the authentic Neapolitan pizza recipe…room for improvement there… On my second visit, I asked for an entrecote but they run out of “solomillo” beef cut; big disappointment; however, manager/owner recommended me a nice plate of Panzerotti ai Funghi which were really silky creamy and scrumptious, 7/10 there…as I was still hungry (me, big dude Kemosabe) I ate a rather big Ensalada Pino (a mix salad with tuna and all) and that finally did the trick of placating my appetite. As Da Pino has around 10 tables only it’s advisable to book in advance if you plan to eat during busy times (mainly Friday, Saturday & weekdays after 9 pm) WiFi’s available & strong. Will...
Read moreOmgoodness why does this place only have 4.4, we have no idea. This has got to be one of, if not, the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever eaten at and I’ve traveled to many places (not Italy just yet) and live very close to NY. Chef Giovanni Gallo is amazing at what he does, the mushroom risotto was yummy, the chef pasta with fetuchini has a Smokey tang punch to it omg sooo good.
The tiramisu hands down the best ever, served in a jar to allow the flavors to settle after two days have passed.
We came yesterday and returned today this time to try the margarita pizza and panna cotta, absolutely delicious. The pizza brings the flavors of New York and Italy speaks to the expertise of the chef.
This is hands down a must when in Sevilla. Don’t miss it. And what goes great with great food at a lovely restaurant is the staff who was super attentive and inviting.
We’ll be back again before we go. Thank you...
