Sooo, Basically, let me start with the good stuff. The food is greaaat, like really tasty, and the place is lovely. We had the chance to be outside in the evening, and it wasnt too cold for a day when it's been raining on and off all day. So i would really recommend the place for the food and the place.

Now let me get to the bad part... mmh It isnt about the language barrier (i spoke english and they did their best to understand me.. and when the waitress in charge of our table didnt get what i was trying to say, another person took care of us and they managed to get what we meant. The problem came when we got our bill. Instead of the bill of 40€ we were expecting, we instead got a bill of 60€. Basically, they should be clearer on the way they do things in Spain, specially with foreigners, because for us living in France, we would not expect having to pay for the servicing (meaning the aperitive, bread, even water..), and the menu not being clear on the dishes to share for 2 threw us off.. even after talking to the english speaking person, we were still expecting a different amount at the end.

Anyway, i wasnt too sure between 2 or 3 stars. The food is really good, and i guess, as an usual customer, i would know all the different costs that arent in the actual menu. My advice would be, to actually ask all the questions you could have, and if a price looks too good to be true, its probably the case. As long as you make things straight from the beginning, you'll have a good time, im sure! Once again, every dish we ordered was really nice.. Hopefully this review will be helpful, for any new customers, as well as for the establishment, maybe to better their curstomer...

I would highly recommend this place. Delicious food in a lovely venue, a beautiful old house with lots of character, an ideal place for a special occasion. The staff is extremely nice and welcoming also with people who only speak English.

There are many seatings both inside and out. It's like a house with different rooms to choose from. Be reminded that they open after 8:30 pm and you won’t be able to come early.

The prices are a little more on the higher side but all very reasonable especially due to the fact the the portions are substantial. At some point, the staff advised us that we were ordering too much food and it was very crucial. I was so tired of everything being "tapas size" that it seemed impossible to find a decent sized meal in Spain for an adult.

The food was delicious all the way but the highlights were the artichoke with egg and ham, and the special off-menu paella which is prepared in a way that only leaves the bottom crust, and not much rice on top. It's a perfect option so you don't get stuffed with so much starch but still manage to taste the deliciousness of the caramelized part

Overall I was delighted with the meal: excellent food in a beautiful setting with...

Went there for our last dinner during our stay in the city and we were glad we chose this place cap off a great trip!

This place opens after 8:30pm and no you won’t be able to come early and wait at the bar because the door literally opens at 8:30 not a minute earlier.

There are many seatings both inside and out. We chose to dine inside in a semi private dinning room right next to the fire place which gives out this cozy family feel.

The outdoor seatings are arranged in the inner patio of the restaurant decorated with small light fixtures. Very romantic.

The food was the highlight. We ordered the seafood paella with shrimps and squid ink, tenderloin with potatoes and pepper crystals, grilled white asparagus and grilled zucchini. I would say they were all very well prepared but the favourite has to be the paella 🥘! The rice was coloured black by the squid ink which was very visually impactful. The prawns were peeled and nicely grilled.

The service was great. Our waitress was very tentative and patient since we don’t speak much Spanish.

Overall great place for special occasions. Five star...

It's a TRAP... Avoid. Not sure how all the good reviews got here. Was recommended by our hotel as a nice place for paella, which was far from the truth... The pics here showed a varied drink menu etc. Got there and it was empty at 8:15pm and didn't really fill up. (I know that is early for Sevilla but it was weird) . Only cocktail they said they offered was a mojito despite aforementioned drink menus shown here... Only beer was cruzcampo. Push you towards a large wine list.. Only 3-5 choices for "paella" which were apparently really "soccorat" which is a thin layer of burned rice with some small toppings, in our case literally 4 large shrimp and 4 clams for 2 people total (2 shrimp / clams) each for like 37.50 eur total. Really a SCAM. Only reason not 1 star is that the Batatas Bravas were tasty and reasonably priced. Not like the individual bottles of Perrier for 2.50eur each. Really disappointed by the place and that we didn't find a good paella on our trip. AVOID.
