Chose here for my wife's birthday. Looks lovely. Overlooking the marina. Venue is open air and spaceous. Customer service is lacking though. Waitress came and took our drinks order and left 2 menus for 5 of us. I ordered 5 waters for the table however the waitress knew 3 was enough. Bottles are 500mls. Starters came out with kids pizzas and were very tasty. Prawns in chilli and fried calamari and toasted bruchetta. All was going well. Following the starters I ordered 2 more water of 1st waiter, 10mins later reordered from another waiter, eventually the 3rd request was successful. (tables around us continued to get served upon request). I had turbot, herself had lobster paella and MIL had grilled steak. The steak was inedible. Tough as old boots. So raised it with waiter 3 from the water saga. Turbot was nice. Paella was a half lobster on a bed of rice. No sides and portions are small. (defo not a pizzaria as they were very amateurish. No flavour. Got desserts and the bill. Paid in cash. No reference to steak going back. Left a tip, which waiter number 1 decided to hide under a stack of menus, until his colleagues were out of sight and then he pocketed the tip as quick as he could, hid the check under the stack again and walked away quickly Worked service long enough to know a bad egg. He isn't a...

NO...

This is my third time at this restaurant, especially because it's easy with kids . I like to give another chance in case I order wrong, the chef is in a bad mood, or the restaurant is just having a bad day. But now I've decided to leave this review of my third experience. Sorry, but aside from the pizzas, NO FOOD QUALITY Compare it to the restaurants next door: the pizzas are okay, the pasta is dry and tough (the microwave hit). If you order spaghetti with oilo definitely you'll be bathed in it. We had to send it back Hello!? The service. Those waiters need good training, especially if they're from another country. ahhh ! Plus, they bring the main courses before the starters, ( every body can make a mistake) I asked for the windows to be closed; it was a bit chilly; it was May and 10 PM (it's not that hot here). Aside from the way the waiter looked at me, they gave me a stupid answer: "If I close, I have to ask all the customers." No, dear... you just have to ask the table in front of me, who is the only one who can be prejudiced… when I’m paying more that 180€ for 4pax (2 of them kids) I would like a minimum of a good food and good service. What a shame, because they are in an...

Very unfortunate experience yesterday. We live behind the port and have eaten here many times over 5 years, we recommend it to several friends and visitors. We understand that to a certain extent you are paying for the view and ambience. We had an average meal at great expense. Tiny children’s portions and we were charged €1.50 each for two small pots of ketchup which we requested for the kid’s (tiny) portions of patatas fritas. Charging for ketchup (and at that price!) when you are paying for paella, sangria etc is just plain wrong. We also had the ‘guiri’ service and had to ask for each individual thing (ice and lemon for the agua con gas, lemon wedges for the paella), we were pegged as tourists and treated indifferently. We also had to ask for a soft drink to be removed from the bill as it should have been included in the €18 kids menu. Disappointed.

Pizzeria is probably a bit of a misnomer, the menu is mostly Catalan/Spanish food and I suspect the pizza wasn't really a focus as it was frankly a bit amateurish. My starter (burrata) was a bit better. Still, if you've come to this part of the world you should probably just be enjoying the local cuisine and not trying to cheat and eat Italian as I did (my excuse being I'm a vegetarian, and there's only so many times I can eat patatas bravas and vegetable paella before some amount of ennui sets in). The location is, however, superb, all open air seating down by the harbour, with the yachts bobbing about in the marina just metres away. So I still had a very pleasant lunch, even if the actual pizza was a bit naff.
