Absolutely do eat here! We would’ve passed it had we not come here based on the reviews. Doesn’t look necessarily like the most welcoming place but the owner is the loveliest Spaniard, makes you feel so welcome. Food is delicious, big portions and best price in Cala Millor. And do try the sangria - best, most delicious sangria I’ve ever had with plenty of fruit and huge. Cocktails were excellent too! We tried the gyros, sea bass and came back to try paella on another day - all were superb. You have to pre-order the paella one day in advance as they’ll make it fresh for you the proper way. We tried the grilled hake fillet (€12) and the grilled squid (€18). Both dishes were decent, but nothing particularly special. The hake lacked flavor, and the garlic sauce was a bit overpowering, making it hard to taste the fish or squid itself. At first glance, the place looks like an ordinary barbecue bar, with pictures of dishes on the walls. But I would recommend the place. The food tastes really nice. Not a Michelin restaurant, but the food is really at the best end of what is served in Cala Millor.
