Cafe Mint — Restaurant in Son Servera

What can we say! This place blew us away. It's hard as a vegan traveling abroad, most places have little or no interest in catering for the few but this little cafe was a hidden gem. Not only did it have a separate vegan menu so it was easy to see what we could have, but the staff went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was a good one. All the staff had a great understanding of all items on the vegan menu and they helped us with our food choices. The food itself I could not fault! Perfectly presented, fresh and super tasty! Our favourite was probably the homemade banana bread with vegan chocolate ice cream. Even their prosecco was vegan.

Extra things that added to the dining experience....The décor was really lovely, the positive quotes on the mirrors made me smile and they had the nicest smelling toilets in Mallorca!

We had an amazing time here and returned twice! Having vegan and vegetarian food options was great and the cocktails were great too. We sat inside one evening as that was the only spot available and the couple next to us were having a full on phone argument with their son for what seemed like forever and it really ruined our meal and gave me a headache was it was so loud and distracting. It's not Mint's fault but as the tables were so close together I could hear everything and it was SO LOUD. It might be worth a little sign asking people to take phone calls outside if this is a regular thing now because it really does ruin the atmosphere of a relaxed and chilled place for food and drinks. It shouldn't need to happen but people will always be people. There is no reason that long phonecalls should not be...

Had a lovely meal and cocktails in cafe Mint. Everything was excellent and the staff are so friendly. Everywhere is immaculate and stylish (even the toilets) Location is fantastic too. They even go the extra mile. We had a really bad experience in a nearby eating establishment (which I will review separately) and Cafe Mint rescued us ... it was our last night of our holiday, we were hungry, places were closing and our experience elsewhere was quite traumatic. Cafe Mint had cleaned and closed their kitchen for the night when we arrived in need of food. They were so kind and rustled us up some delicious finger food and the best cocktails. Their empathy, understanding and welcoming nature salvaged the night and we ended our holiday on a happy note. Thank you guys...we’ll...
