American Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Tías

Myself and my family just spent this evening in this venue and to say we are absolutely shocked and horrified by the abuse and treatment I was subjected to by the "front of house man" who brings you to the table and gives the menus...... Unfortunately a great night of live music was ruined.. we waited over 30 mins to order a new round of drinks i would note i was drinking cappucinos!...When we raised this with the front of house man... he became extremely irate and challenging that we had no right to gesture or click to get his attention... we explained our frustration with the lack of service and attention and he lacked any level of basic customer service skills and we asked for the bill... to which he again ignored our request and we had to ask another member of staff for the bill. When leaving he began mumbling under his breath about myself (a woman) he called me a " rude woman " and " awful person. "

I explained this was no way for anyone In public service to speak to any patron let alone a male to a female... he became louder and yelling at me (embarrassing for other people to be witness to my humiliation from thus man).. I asked to speak to the manager he advised he was the manager. Then a man who came out and identified as the second in command appeared to have a level of customer service skills that the front of house man certainly lacked. He apologised to me personally and we were reassured that he would check cctv of incident and address service issues with his staff.... unsure how likely this will be but I am genuinely concerned that anyone is able to speak to any patron in this regard and the way he made me feel in fear and humiliated in front of others whilst totally sober is shocking. Avoid - unfortunately live music that is amazing is sabotaged by abusive and unhospitable service from that one male front of house staff member... and...

We sat a bit before midnight for a quick drink Ordered a coke zero - got a coke light A chocolate milkshake - was only milk with a tiny hint of chocolate A virgin piña colada - too creamy, barely any pineapple. Unfortunately we realised when we had already left that we got charged for a piña colada with alcohol instead A baileys cocktail - barely any baileys, strongly watered down

It was late already, we were not looking for a fight nor for an excuse to have a discount (since literally everything was wrong, we just decided it would be too much to deal with in that moment). Therefore, we did pay, and AFTER we paid I stopped the waiter to say that none of the things we ordered were done correctly and that I just felt like I needed to let him know. I politely told him that, as we had paid already and we were ready to go, but he immediately went attack mode saying that then we should have immediately sent the whole order back and that if we touched the drinks meant we were not saying the truth. I looked at him stunned (milkshake was untouched, piña colada was still half there, coke light too. Yes I still drank the watered down baileys) and said once again that we are on holiday, chilling, not looking for a fight and we had already paid so whatever, I just thought he should know. He aggressively replied the same way one more time. We left.

Service was quick despite whatever happened, live music good enough and the place...

I recently dined at the American Indian Cafe and had a mixed experience. For starters, I ordered garlic bread and chicken wings. Unfortunately, the garlic bread was too thick and undercooked, while the chicken wings lacked proper marination and were coated in a cheap BBQ sauce. However, the nachos my friend had were decent, although they could have used more sauce.

Moving on to the mains, we shared a 4 seasons pizza which was delicious and well-prepared. However, the grilled chicken was slightly dry, and the portion sizes seemed excessive, leading to unnecessary waste, which was disappointing to see.

On a positive note, the live entertainment provided by the band was enjoyable, and the ambiance was pleasant. However, the cocktails were hit and miss, with some being well-made while others fell short of expectations.
