Food mediocre at best. Asked for no black pudding ..... it came with black pudding (which puts my wife off her food, the reason we asked for none!). Asked for a cortardo.... only took 3 reminders!. The clincher though was when we went to pay.
You have to pay at the adjacent bar (Rocas Blanca) No contactless apparently (though after the later problem they showed me other people’s receipts! one of which was contactless!!). Paid by PIN : which apparently ‘failed’ after it’d said the Spanish equivalent of “PIN accepted”. So I asked for a card machine receipt showing “cancelled” : something I’ve always been given, internationally too, if a transaction doesn’t go through. No joy. Suddenly their passable English got worse and the couldn’t understand me.
