I stumbled on this place without checking reviews. I'm glad I didn't read them because some are definitely worlds apart from our experience. Firstly, service was excellent. Multi lingual, efficient and friendly. The menu was explained thoroughly and the specials were also recommended. We were asked if we wanted bread unlike many places that simply place it on your table and add a cover charge. Secondly, our food was excellent. The plates are to share. We tried three. Beautiful presentation. Portions are not huge but nor did we want to be over faced with immense portions and the feeling of being stuffed. I prefer quality over quantity and I thought the food was inventive and tasty. I'd absolutely disagree with another reviewer's comment on the smoked cod. It was delicious. Price point was great. Three unusual and unique dishes, two drinks, two coffees: 46€.

Stumbled on this place during a quick walk around Tarifa. I saw a pani puri fusion item on the menu full of traditional Spanish foods and tapas and said I must try this! It was delicious!! Simple but flavors bursting in the mouth as pani puri should. I also got their seafood paella as recommended by the chef and the home-cooked dish did not disappoint. Also simple but delicious and full of seafood. They were so nice and attentive and the ambience was calm and relaxing. Definitely worth the stop.

A hidden GEM A bit of the track, this place servers fresh local produce with a cute but modern decor. Good portions and very decent prices. One of today’s specials was the Tuna “Tataki”. Slightly seared served with crystal salt, soy and wasabi with a side of seaweed salad. This is definitely the most fresh tuna I’ve had.

I truly don’t understand why this place doesn’t have a higher rating! It’s my favourite place in Tarifa. The food is delicious, truly mouthwatering and always with amazing presentation. They plates aren’t big but neither are they too expensive. A nice cocktail menu and the prices here are extremely decent considering the location. The service is fantastic, always quick and with a smile and always happy to recommend something from the menu if you can’t decide. Finally - the atmosphere. I mean, what can I say, it’s a terrace with trees and lights opposite a church in Andalucía. Of course it’s got atmosphere! We came on the night of the flamenco show and had the best night of the trip. Every time I come back to Tarifa, I won’t miss the opportunity to even just grab...

This establishment provided one of the most unpleasant lunch experiences I have ever endured. The waitress, exuding both arrogance and ill-temper, scarcely deigned to glance in our direction—when she did, it was with a look of disdain. Upon politely inquiring which dishes might be prepared swiftly, she responded with condescension, implying that our request was somehow our own problem.

Matters deteriorated further when she carelessly spilled Coca-Cola, made no attempt to clean the mess, nor offered any form of apology or goodwill gesture. For such abysmal service and discourtesy, the €70 bill was nothing short of outrageous.

Avoid this restaurant at all costs. It is an establishment to be...
