Sul Mare La Pizzeria — Restaurant in Tarragona

My daughter and I specifically chose this pizzeria for it's location and setting.

Both meals came out separately. My spaghetti bolognese and then my 20 year old daughters pizza 6 mins later.

My spaghetti was not only cold, it was fridge cold, literally! I found it hard to believe? I sent it back immediately. I had bitten into the sundried tomato on the top and deliberately left an indentation.

Approx 4 mins later, my pasta arrived back out. I inspected my plate, looked at the sundried tomato on top, still with my teeth marks! It had to have been microwaved!

This restaurant prides itself on freshness and high cuisine. I dare to say NOT! Unless everywhere else in the harbour is closed, do not eat here.

The waiter was very apologetic and understanding, but no apologies could have forgave the service of the kitchen chef.

Visité LaPizzeria Sul Mare con grandes expectativas, pero lamentablemente la experiencia fue bastante frustrante. Desde el momento en que llegamos, la falta de organización del personal fue evidente. Pedimos una mesa para acomodarnos y tomar unos Gin Tónics. La idea era cenar en este espacio, pues nos encantó la ubicación. Nos cambiaron de sitio dos veces. La primera vez, nos ubicaron en una mesa sin reserva y les dijimos nuestra intención. Luego, nos movieron a una segunda mesa, pero al poco tiempo nos pidieron que nos levantáramos nuevamente porque también estaba asignada a otros comensales. Lo curioso es que había otras mesas, donde los clientes disfrutaban de su refresco y no cenaban.

Finalmente, después de tanto ir y venir, nos sentimos tan incómodos y molestos que decidimos marcharnos sin siquiera probar la comida. La situación fue manejada de una manera tan caótica que nos hizo perder el apetito y la paciencia.

Es una pena porque el menú parecía prometedor y habíamos oído buenos comentarios sobre las pizzas. Sin embargo, la falta de organización y la manera en que se manejó la situación nos dejó una impresión muy negativa.

Espero que el restaurante pueda mejorar su servicio al cliente y la gestión de las reservas, ya que la primera impresión es crucial y, en este caso, fue realmente...

The atmosphere is wonderful. I dont think i have ever felt more welcome at a bar we where here a few times this week and every single time they welcomed us like we were friends. We were able to make jokes and even ask them to play a song when we were pretty drunk😅. They bring everything very fast and the drinks are really well balanced and tasty. Nothing negative to say...
