We arrived late into Teguise, when every doorway seemed already spoken for, yet fortune smiled: the gracious sommelier found us a table, no doubt released by another. The room itself is small, warm, and quietly elegant — the sort of place that embraces you after a long day. I had two weary, hungry children in tow, ready to surrender to sleep, but the staff rose beautifully to the moment. With rare empathy and patience, they turned what could have been a fraught evening into one of ease. Victor, in particular, worked small wonders with the little ones, calming and entertaining them as though it were the most natural thing in the world.

And that was merely the service. The food itself was exquisite: thoughtful, unhurried, and deeply satisfying, offered at prices that felt more than fair. A local white wine carried the island’s character in every sip, and dessert was a gentle finale.

Food okay, we had a baked goat cheese with chicken liver pate on top and caramelised onions - loved it. Then tuna rolled in sesame seeds and very under cooked ( great). I had goat stew. Very tender, but it came only with chips! Absolutely No veg at all. ( chips don't count). We had effectively house wine, very tasty. Pudding was orange mousse and baked cheesecake. Small, inviting colorful rooms invite to stay a little longer. It’s like a comforting home. You fell like dining in a heartwarming living room. The staff and the owner are amazing! And the food is a chapter at it’s own. Local ingredients are masterly transformed to comforting, tasty fresh food.
