Casa Cejas — Restaurant in Teguise

We called here for tapas lunch after looking at the excellent reviews. It was a sunny Monday and we sat at a table outside awaiting service. Another group arrived at the same time and sat at an adjacent table. We waited a few minutes (no rush) and then a waiter appeared and took the order from the other group. After about 10 minutes he appeared at our table and I asked for the food menu. His English wasn't the best but in fairness he did explain that we had to go inside if we wanted food. He came across as slightly rude but they may have just been a language thing so haven't got a problem with that. He then left the table and left us to ponder. Our question to each other was why the best seats(outside in the sunshine) were reserved for the cheapest option of drinks only?. We wanted to enjoy the sunshine so we left, disappointed not to try the food. Could the establishment please explain...

One of our absolute favourite restaurants in Teguise! From the outside, you’d never guess what a hidden gem it is — step inside and you’ll find a beautiful courtyard, charming decor, and a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere.

The food was incredible. We had the chickpeas with meat and the meatballs, and both were absolutely packed with flavour — seriously some of the best dishes we’ve had on the island.

To top it off, it was much more reasonably priced than other places we’ve tried, and far better quality. We’re already planning...

found this amazing spot with a beautiful open-air interior. the food was well presented and of excellent value.

lanzarote cheese plate came in generous portions, and delicious gambas and canarian potatoes. also had cortado, a juice, a coffee, and a ropa vieja which I didn't love but was still good. with two warm toasted buns, the bill came up to just 37 euro.
