Unfortunately, our experiences with the restaurant la pérdiz tejeda dad been outstanding bad. We ordered croquetes and grilled cheese with bread as a starter and paella and salad with chicken and langostinos as a main dish. For our child we ordered French fries. We received the cheese and the French fries... And waited. No Croquettes, no bread. After almost 10 minutes we asked for the Croquettes and the bread and were told that they are finished very soon. It was still impossible to deliver some bread. After a pretty long while, we received the Croquettes, the bread, the paella and the salad, all at once. I would like to mention at this point that the restaurant was not full at all. Maybe 1/5 of all tables were taken. We thought it could only get better, but we were wrong. Spoiler: the only food that was alright had been the Croquettes and the French fries for our kid. The grilled cheese was one single slice of some kind of cheese, it was cold from the begining or since it was drowned in two indefinable cold sweet sauces (see picture). To be honest, it was not eatable at all. The paella (see picture) was actually no paella. It had been rice with green beans, meat and the complete absence of fish or any taste. But actually, it included many bones. The arrangement on the plate was interesting. It was just dumped on the plate with green herbs and half of a lemon. We tried to eat it but after we chewed on a certainty amount of bones, we decided it would be better to stop. And the salad, well, it started good. It was nothing special, it had only been chicken, shrimps (or langostinos, I was not sure but at this point it didn't matter at all), tomatoes, lettuce and a sauce. Actually nothing more. The taste was alright. But all of a sudden, the salad at the bottom was noticably cold. I realized that the complete bottom of the plate was filled with cold water (no vinegar, no oil, just loads of cold water). It seemed like it was water from the washing of the salad (see picture). It was impossible to continue eating at this point. And the service, well... It took pretty long to receive one (yes, only one) menu card. For two people. I already mentioned the fact in what order we received our meals. During the meal we had been asked if everything was alright, we answered with a straight "no". No answer from the service staff, no more service, nothing. We waited and waited and decided that it was necessary to pay at the bar since no one even looked at us. The service and the food, both had been by far the worst we ever had on Gran Canaria. I would like to mention as well that I can speak Spanish so there was no language barrier at all. The service staff could have talked to us, asked what was not alright, anything. It just...

Great restaurant, awesome view, but food that lags out of taste. The restaurant itself is nice designed and fits perfect in the environment. You can sit outside or inside, inside is more beautiful (from the tables and the restaurant itself), but outside you have an greater view. The service is friendly, funny and fast. The food is good, but as mentioned before, it lags a bit of taste. The price for all this is neutral high, so a bit too high for the things it offers. Anyway I liked it there and would recommend it to anyone who is going to visit the middle of...

We were on a holiday and traveling towards Roque Nublo when we came across this wonderful gem of a restaurant. We were really surprised with the menu and surprisingly good taste! The server was really sweet and even though she spoke a little bit English she made the best effort to serve us. Menu is also in English which is always great! Highly recommend, really good food for a really...
