The service in this place is awful, and they tried to rip us off. Avoid at all costs! We only had pizza and a couple of drinks, but the whole experience lasted 2 and a half hours. The only speedy service we received was from the police who were called when we refused to pay the bill until it had been amended to match the prices quoted in the menus we were given. It took ages for them to even take our food order. It took even longer for the food to arrive. After waiting more than an hour, we asked to cancel the food and just pay for the drinks, but they told us it was in the oven already. The waiter told us that the kitchen is “very bad”. When the food eventually did arrive, it was passable, but nothing special. When the bill arrived, all the prices were around 10% more than quoted in the menu. We would not normally check, but we had time to spare while we were waiting for the food. We complained and the manager reduced the food prices, but refused to reduce the drinks prices, saying that we had been given older menus with out of date prices. We refused to pay until it had been reduced; he refused to reduce them, and called the police. We explained the situation to the police, who spoke to the manager, who finally agreed to reduce the drinks prices. There are so many great places to eat in Moraira, but this was the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had, anywhere. If you are unfortunate enough to be eating here,...

Trendy pastel/tropical interior with plenty of quirky and chic touches such as lampshades made from jugs. Trendy interior is paired with an upbeat deep house soundtrack which is not very loud and conversation can still be made comfortably. Very popular outside but with plenty of room inside when we visited (2200-2300). Outside seating features water spray in the canopy to keep diners cool. Unfortunately, the Aircon was very weak inside which left diners hot and sweaty and the lights above our table would turn on and off occasionally.
The food was excellent with a huge selection on the menu. I personally recommend the Ammos Javea Pizza as it was very tasty and had a stone-baked base. Another diner had the hamburger which looked very appetising which he enjoyed. Ribs were also very substantial and looked excellent.
The service was a bit slow but to be expected on busy days. The staff who served us were mostly friendly except for one waitress who was a bit miserable at times.
Despite a few shortcomings, this was overall an enjoyable experience and I would...
Read moreAfter much thought, I am giving it 4 stars because the decor is really nice and the food is good and fresh. However, there are a couple of things that could improve, like making sure you get what you order. I ordered a bagel with pesto amongst other things, which was really good, but unfortunately had no pesto or maybe such a small amount that I couldn't spot it... They had no ketchup, which the waitress mentioned without seeming to care.much. I don't care much for ketchup either, but being the type of restaurant it is, it would even be worth it to go to the nearest supermarket and buy some as an emergency!
Finally, the waitress that attended us could improve her customer service skills. She was as dry as old bread! Seriously... She didn't seem to care at all for her job. Truly a shame because the last time we were attended by a...
