Unreal but true.. the baker at La Marinera bakes the most delicious breads and pastries with love. the barista makes absolutely top coffee 'poco de leche', you sit in the shade with a beautiful view of the sea. But then a girl in workout leggings shows up on Friday, apparently in charge. She snaps at colleagues who have worked well there for a long time, she grabs the sliced bread with both unwashed hands, as if she were putting dirt in a bag, completely uninterested that she has food for a customer in her dirty hands. She shouts at a lady who is stuck in the toilet and cannot get out, she is downright rude to a customer who has been sitting on the terrace for a long time waiting for service and decides to order coffee inside. the customer asks; do I have to wait here for the coffee and take it myself to the table or do you bring it to the table? the woman in leggings says; you can wait here for your coffee. the lady in leggings places a dish with a paid bill and the change on our table. I tell the lady in leggings, this is not ours! but she doesn't listen and starts shouting angrily at her colleges again. Amazing how 1 person, who is apparently full of anger for the work, or angry at life , can destroy a business where others work with love and passion. This girl is not suitable for...
Read moreWe stay in Moraira a lot as we have a house there and we love to eat croissant for breakfast each day when we are there. We bought our croissant, which are very good, probaby the best in Moraira in my opinion, at the panaderia. However, after day 5 we stopped due to the way we were treated by the girls who worked there. It is interesting to read in the reviews that a common theme is the poor service, but looking at the language the review is written in, the French reviews are good, Spanish and English often complain about the service. This is the same as my experience, the French customers were treated well, I was not - even though I was speaking in basic French. I would like to say to the owner, who I believe is very sincere about providing the best French products, please work on the Customer Service. If I am treated politely, I will buy croissants at your Panaderia/Boulangerie every day. If I am treated with disdain, I will go to one of the...
Read moreThere is a big lack of ambition, it’s oversimplified and sloppy. The menu is also very misleading for example ordering black tea will in fact omly get you some cinnamon stuff. The only big positive is the view but i would instead recommend Ammos or La Cena for a similar view with better breakfasts. They were out of orang juice, tomatoes nad had to check if they had nutella. How can you be out of tomatoes, go and buy some. It has never been closely the same as before the new owners. Dont listen to the reviews because they are directed toward the...
