Eaten here lots of times. Last time was September. Went today because I fancied my fav thing from there. Tuna and tomato toasted sandwich. The man who served me wasn’t welcoming at all. Slammed my coffee down without a word and same with my toasted sandwich. I tried to take a bite but was very burnt and tasted off, like stale bread. When I took it to counter to tell them I can’t eat it. He was loud and rude stating id eaten half of it. When all I did was try one single bite after ripping all the really burnt bits off and leaving them all on the plate. The man was very unpleasant and told me to not come back. Wouldn’t ever again after how you made me feel anyways. Food was very below today. The Spanish staff behind the counter was the only persons who was calm and nice about...
Read moreI have a dairy free diet but really wanted a soya milk or coconut milk coffee in moraira. I have been holidaying in Moraira with my family for 8 years and and this is my first visit since on my no dairy diet. I'm missing spanish coffee very much, so today I decided to enquire about soya or coconut milk coffee options with the cafes in Moraira town. Every cafe I enquired in didn't offer it as an option but also looked at me as if I was asking for something strange. The fabulous staff at Miramar didn't have soya milk but he said he did have a tin of coconut milk and did I want him to try it in a coffee. I was so pleased with this can do attitude with a smile too. It tasted lovely. I will be back for sure. Made my day. I hear the tapas is great here too....
I don't recommend this place if you're looking for honesty in what's being offered.
The menu says “ración”, but what they served wouldn’t even qualify as a tapa: 8 small sardines, no sides, no bread —and they charged €12.90. Bread was charged separately (without asking), and the tinto de verano was €5.90, which is just ridiculous.
The worst part isn’t the price —it’s the feeling that they’re trying to take advantage of you.
No views, no culinary value, and nothing to justify the inflated prices.
A tourist trap dressed up as a charming bar. I won’t be back —and I don’t...
