We have been coming here for over 6 years, and it was the worst meal of my life without a doubt. 2 of 3 meals sent back (first time I've ever done this), we all ate at different times, meaning the shared veggies were cold and 1 person was sat for over 30 minutes before the final meal was finished. One steak was inedible, not once, but twice, so it was left it and we informed the waiter. It was still kept on the bill, although free dessert was offered and a glass of wine was given to the person whose food was "edible". If it wasn't a birthday meal for my 80 year old mother, I would have refused to pay full price and complained more, but I didn't want to make a bad night even worse. 80€ for 3 steaks, (2 returned) 2 beers, 2 cokes, 3 glasses of wine and 3 rolls.... never again. And the blame was put on the fact the meat was Spanish produce! If it's not edible, don't serve it and take it off the menu. The photo shows what should be an a medium cooked fillet steak. The first time the plate was covered in blood so it was returned to be cooked more. This is what was returned. You couldn't even run a knife through it, let alone eat it. The other fillet steak was solid gristle and had what looked like a collection of 'tubes' running through the centre and more inedible than the first, this was replaced with a sirloin. We were the only ones in the restaurant and we thought it odd we could hear someone using a meat tenderiser in the kitchen whilst our meal was being prepared. Maybe they confused stewing steak with fillet, who knows! Now we know why the place was empty. Used to be a fantastic...

Having driven, walked or cycled past this place several times and seeing it relatively quiet, we finally thought we would try it out on our very last day in La Santa.

We initially sat down to not even be greeted or noticed by anyone for a few minutes, but it went from strength to strength after this. The waiter (older gentleman), although he didn't speak great English, knew exactly what we wanted and had the utmost sense of good waiter service (placing the soft cloth napkins down on the table using a fork & spoon and not hands, for example.).

Three of us dined. We drank 5 glasses of wine, 1 soft drink, 2 pizzas, 1 pasta dish and 3 breads. All this came in at an incredible under €50 including tip!

The bread was hot and clearly freshly baked. The aioli served with it was yummy and seemed to be made fresh too. Pizzas were large, tasty and filling with a good dough and chilli oil provided if needed for spice. House wine was the best wine we have tasted all week and the cheapest too!

Portion size is good and the pizzas are much much better than at Club La Santa and at about half the price!

Wish we'd tried it out sooner - this place really is the best place in the area.

Amazing value, service and taste at this seemingly quiet place. Don't miss out by repeatedly visiting places you've tried out of loyalty... Add this place to the list! You can not go wrong! See you next year!...

This is a delightful restaurant. Lots of the locals frequent, meaning it is usually quite busy. Really great choices. My favourites are all the starters, their prawns and avocado are the freshest prawns in the village. The potatoe starter, finished in the oven, is so tasty, has a bolognese sauce on it and topped with cheese. Their salads are fresh and a great size, they leave the dressing to you, which is my preference. Their lamp cutlets are succulent, and while simple, extremely tasty. Pizza is the best in the area. I rarely have room for desserts, which are in the main frozen. Always a nice buzzy atmosphere. Great service from mainly local waiters. Really great prices. Totally...

What a great local restaurant serving fantastic food. The staff were very polite and courteous and friendly. We were a party of 10 staying at Club La Santa, we had to visit twice as it was so nice. The food was well cooked and presented nicely. Certainly would make time for a visit if your in the area. It gets very busy in the evening so worth booking ahead...
