We made a reservation and arrived on time, expecting to enjoy lunch like we have many times in the past at the old location. Unfortunately, this visit was nothing short of disappointing.

Despite our booking, we were left waiting for more than half an hour without being seated — and this while around six tables sat completely empty. Staff seemed more occupied with other things than with actually looking after the guests who were already there. No explanation, no apology, just the feeling that our presence was not a priority.

We’ve been visiting the old place for years and always enjoyed the atmosphere, but since moving and aiming for a “higher standard,” it seems they’ve forgotten some of the basics: greet guests, honour reservations, and serve people in a timely manner. High standards are about service and hospitality, not just décor and image.

After waiting well over 30 minutes with no sign of improvement, we decided to leave without lunch. Sadly, this experience has left us questioning whether we’ll return at all. If they want to keep loyal customers, they’ll need to spend less time looking polished and more time actually taking care of the people who walk...

Utterly disappointing. We gave this place two chances in one day — first time, we just wanted drinks. “No.” Second time, we wanted food and drinks. Still “No.”

The place looks fantastic from the outside, but the staff didn’t seem remotely interested in actually serving customers. We were handed a Spanish menu (no problem), but when we asked for an English version, we were told they didn’t have one… despite there being a big English-and-Spanish menu right at the entrance. That menu didn’t mention any restricted hours or limited service, so it all felt needlessly unwelcoming.

We won’t be making the effort again. Shame really — unless your idea of a good time is walking into a restaurant twice in one day just to be told you can’t have anything either time. In that case, you’ll...

Called in for a bite after a long walk down the beach on my own at 3pm. There was a few in which is always a good sign. I was Seated at a table outside on the sand. I ordered Spanish hake and chips. Food came within about 10 mins and I was given free Thai crackers with my drink. The chips were whole slices of potato fried. Fish was lovely, light batter with paprika. No sauce at all needed. Wolfed it all down. Unfortunately I waited for 15 mins after eating hoping someone would come and ask me if everything was OK and if I wanted another drink, which I did. Decided to get that drink somewhere else and paid the bill at the bar...
