Cool beach super close to Malaga. It has great music, a laid back vibe and awesome food. We came here twice, once by chance and the second time by choice.
The good: Food - just amazing. Very delicious dishes for everyone’s taste. As a plus, they also have a super nice selection of smoothies and fresh juices. Vibe - great, chill but with a cool beach bar feel in the afternoon after 4pm when the Dj kicked in. Music - great!! 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 Lounge chairs - they only book half of the lot in advance, which gives us newbies a chance to get one if you come when they open. Not many beaches around do that. Sea and swimming- great! The beach area is smooth, no rocks and you can go swimming for a long way without any concerns. Haven’t seen a lifeguard on any of the beaches around though.
… buuuut ☝🏻: WIFI - absolutely awful. If you don’t have local plan or roaming, you can forget about it. Waiting to download a newspaper for half an hour now. Also the staff gave us different stories about the wifi. Eating conditions- you can order anything you want off the menu, if you are in the right area. On the beach, only selected items off the menu are available, same as on the terrace. But the main courses can only be ordered inside the restaurant and most likely they won’t have a table available. Men’s toilet - a bit more intimate than you would expect. The door to the toilet doesn’t lock so… The women’s toilet is as expected, nothing fancy but clean and nice. Sorry guys…
The booking lady - I left this as a special mention because even though the staff is nice and very customer oriented, her attitude is as if you owe her something just to get to talk to her. You will notice her at the main entrance in the restaurant, always too busy to bother with people right in front of her. She makes the bookings for the restaurant and the Balinese beds and the staff always referred to her for that, but we were not “worthy “ enough to for her to speak to us so we went for the lounge...
Read moreFor such a beautiful place it’s really let down by the service. We stopped in for a few drinks late afternoon, there is a terrace at the front and the back with sofas which seem to be exclusively for drinks which was perfect for us. Lovely atmosphere and decor, and the chairs were very comfortable. After around 10 minutes since we had been seated we still hadn’t been served and tried to call the waiter a few times, the drinks arrived quickly and all was good. We then sat with empty drinks is again for 5-10 minutes, trying to get the waiters attention countless times, on two occasions it appeared he was looking directly at us and just completely ignored us. It wasn’t that he was busy, he was sat at the servers station yawning and vaping. When it came to asking for the bill we had to ask twice, and on the second time it did come swiftly. However after paying, when we tried to walk down the path to leave there were 3 of the staff taking up the entire walk way, leaving us to walk in the sand and over an umbrella, one of these men might I add appeared to be the manager as he had a different colour top to the rest of the staff.
It really is such a shame that the service lets its down so much, otherwise we would absolutely...
Read moreThe overall service left a lot to be desired. From the start, the front-of-house staff member was abrupt and unaccommodating when we asked to sit outside, despite there being available tables. Her body language was unnecessarily aggressive, even when her colleague tried to assist.
Service throughout was slow — no one checked on us during the meal, and drink orders were either delayed or didn’t arrive at all. The staff seemed disengaged and unhappy, which affected the atmosphere.
What made the experience worse was waiting to use the toilets, only to find that girls were using them as a dressing room to get ready for a night out — not something you’d expect
Overall, it was a disappointing visit that didn’t justify the €30 it cost just to get there. I wouldn’t...
