La Pepa — Restaurant in Torremolinos

Went here because of the great reviews. It was nice, but nothing special, to be honest. One of my 3 waitors within 45 mins was very sweet and personable but unfortunately all my 3 waitors always seemed to be on the way to their next customer. The recommended red wine was great. The food was good, but all of it was served on a piece of very oily toasted piece of bread which left me all greasy... I lack some more creativity with each tapas, not just something on toast... Or perhaps I should have ordered differently? I might be wrong? One thing I did not like was the waitors bringing out my 4 tapas almost in one go. By the time I started my 3rd tapas it wasn't warm any longer. And the 4th, well... I wish I could have given you a more...

Que viva la caña y tapa !! Uno de mis locales preferidos en Torremolinos, sobre todo por tapa incluida con su consumición y camareros muy amables. Local bien decorado y aunque la carta de comida no me maravilla puedo destacar la ensaladilla Rusa, y el crujiente de merluza (tapa premiada)

Ya no ponen tapa ni la cerveza, pero picar algo en @lapepatorremolinos siempre es una buena opción. 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿 con una cervecita. Un buen pan, carne Tierna sabrosa y el huevo mejora. Un buen bocado 👍 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼 (3,30€) mini sándwich de lomo de cerdo, mayonesa serrano y pimiento verde. Apuesta segura.

Volvemos a 𝘓𝘢 𝘗𝘦𝘱𝘢 en Calle Danza Invisible 5 en Torremolinos. 1️⃣ y 2️⃣ 𝗥𝘂𝘀𝗮 𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝘂𝗲𝘃𝗼 (10,95 €) Ensaladilla rusa con tacos de atún fresco, salsa kimchee y huevo frito. Sentimientos encontrados, algo fría y la patata muy grande para mi gusto, el atún sólo no se integra muy bien pero cuando lo juntas con el huevo está muy rico! 3️⃣ y 4️⃣ 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘁𝗮𝘀 𝗱𝗲 𝗷𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝘆 𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼 𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗼 (7,95 €) buen sabor, de textura muy densas para mi gusto. Aparentan no ser caseras pero están bastante buenas. Se quedaron sin velo y no avisaron (mal) lo compensaron con un chupito de tequila (bien) 5️⃣ 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗱𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗼 (9'8 €) sobre cremoso de patata. Muy rico y tierno.

En @lapepatorremolinos encuentras una carta reducida, bien ejecutada con toques de creatividad, algo precocinada pero con muy buena relación precio calidad....

When we arrived and asked for a table, the waiter served a couple who arrived after us, did not look in our direction and then when we finally got in contact, he said it was full and gesticulated.
