3 Monkeys Torremolinos — Restaurant in Torremolinos

I am a little disgusted by this bar. I am usually a customer of them. I have attended several times and the waiters are very kind in an artificial way and put too much pressure on you to consume. They interrupt your conversation to ask if you want more drinks. If I want something, I will ask them for it without problem. But last Friday I was in a bar near the 3 Monkeys (el Armario), my friend sat down to talk on the phone for a few minutes at a 3 Monkeys table (it was completely empty at noon) and the waitress kicked out my friend claiming that the bar was only for customers. At that time my friend was not using, he just sat down for a moment, she came out quickly and threw him out. I think the deal is not good, I understand that they only want to sell and sell, I understand it, but they must be a little more empathetic with the client and not so "aggressive" in their sales plan. Honestly I have not felt comfortable, I suggest that they soften their policy of customer treatment. I prefer to pay more, of course, and have another type of treatment with more elegance, consideration and style. Fortunately Torremolinos has hundreds of bars and restaurants where the service...

Recently discovered this little gem whilst on holiday in Torremolinos with my husband.

I posted a social on Facebook (Torremolinos Today) asking for a recommendation for somewhere that provides a good full English breakfast. A good few people recommended the 3 Monkeys so we decided to give it a try. We ended up going two days in a row. Located in La Nogarela.

The full English was amazing 👌 💯 Great coffee which is included in breakfast inc tea. Amazing value for money.

Went back in the afternoon for drinks due to late transfer to airport in the evening. Great drinks on offer and very reasonable.

We met the owners Gareth and Symeon, very welcoming and friendly, appear down to earth.

It's not the ritz.. but doesn't claim to be.. Great food, great service daytime. Night time could do with more staff behind the bar.. We were asked if we wanted drinks, by 4 different waiters, having ordered from a fifth... Poor guy behind the bar was rammed while waiters ( one in particular) just screamed loudly with customers... he was way too familiar with one table in particular.. too loud and screeching ( even for a gay bar). We finally got our drinks but bearded waiter was actually putting us .. and other people off. We left after just one drink because of his constant, shrill, OTT behaviour. I still give 5 stars as all the other staff were fantastic.. but when the owners are not there at night... it's a different vibe. Maybe put the loud one behind the bar and make him work rather than the others carrying the can. Still love the place and...
