Winstons — Restaurant in Torremolinos

Walking through Torremolinos today and noticed this bars food board advertising steak pie. Love this, so my wife and I stopped for some food and a drink. I ordered the steak pie and my wife had the lasagne, also got a pint of San Miguel and a can of fruit cider. Sat outside to eat and waited a comfortable amount of time to be reassured that we were not going to be served some microwave ding meal. Both main courses, the steak pie and the lasagne were brilliant but what blew us both away was that the chips were absolutely fantastic. Real proper chips deep fried and definitely best we have had in a long long time. Pricing was great as well, 31 euros for two meals and two drinks. Just got back from Termolinos had a brilliant two weeks. Found Winston's Bar by chance was I glad. This lovely British bar is set in a lovely wee walk way. Myself and my Husband dropped in for a bite to eat and a drink. Brilliant menu to choose from and so reasonably priced. Mark the bar man is a true gentleman service with a smile. So good at his job and very prompt. I've been visiting carhuela for roughly 15 years and my go to place wherever I stay is Winstons it's welcoming it's a laugh and the staff Aileen/Kelly/Rick/and Rick's other half make the place what it is today all the food is homemade proper chips and English bread and if your a football fan that is the place to head for but if Liverpool are playing get there very early the atmosphere is great just spent another week here in and most days/evenings we would be there...
