Acquolina Restaurante Pizzeria — Restaurant in Torrevieja

When first arrived was greeted very well. We wasn't shown to our seats as we knew we couldn't be seated inside restaurant. Still would have been nice to be shown. Now this is the fun part. We waited and waited for our first drinks order to be taken and I would say 30 to 40 mins. We would have left if it hadn't been for my disabled mother. So best advice is TAKE DRINKS AND GLASSES WITH YOU. The staff are friendly and good humoured once they come round to you. But YOU WILL NEED ALOT OF PATIENCE. Food is very good, the stake was exceptional €27 ish but such a let down on service. Problem is the outside seating area has more customers than those inside, and really needs 3 additional staff to cope with demand. Would I go back ..id have to say NO, WHEN I GO TO OUT ID LIKE TO BE WAITED ON. VERY POOR. NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY OR A FREE DRINK . SO A BIG FAT NO FROM ME. YOUVE...

This review is 2 years late because sadly my holiday to Spain ended abruptly due to an accident that left me having to be flown home. On that holiday we also lost our luggage. We often joke it was the holiday from hell. But we do have a few good memories from it and one was eating at this restaurant. My son and and I got the same desert and we still refer to it as 'the best desert in the world'. I just wish I could remember what it was called. Anyway it was delicious as was all the food here....

Llegamos al restaurante a la 13:15 hora la cual estaba completamente vacío. Pedimos una mesa y nos atienden con gestos poco apropiados teniendo el restaurante vacío. Al momento nos dicen que tiene que ser fuera como si fuera un castigo por no haber llamado (preferencia que encima queríamos) y dándonos explicaciones que sin reserva no es posible comer dentro. Como cliente entiendo que si acudes a una hora de alta afluencia no puedes pensar que vas a tener mesa pero es inadmisible que te hagan sentir como que molestas por no haber llamado cuando hemos finalizado de comer y aún seguía el restaurante vacío. El chico que nos atendió para darnos mesa nos decía que si fuera por él no daba mesa a nadie sin reservar. Su actitud en este caso en concreto es lamentable, vista de negocio tiene 0 y por supuesto que no tenía ningún tipo de poder ya que en su propio restaurante no tenía ningún tipo de cargo. Ese tipo de explicaciones que las dé cuando vengan clientes en otro tipo de momento con más afluencia. Camarero moreno con barba. Una pena porque el sitio y su comida está muy bien pero ese tipo nos ha hecho sentir con sus comentarios desafortunados como si sobraramos o nos tuviéramos que sentir culpables por no llamar previamente. Lo siento pero no volveré más a este restaurante y no recomendaré a nadie venir al menos mientras ese tipo esté trabajando...
