Simply saying without my life story, I went in and got sat by a young lady beside the view, she asked me straight away what drinks would I want where I didn’t even look at the first page of the menu, I said give me a second please as I want to have a look, she thought I gave her attitude and she walked off saying “okay”, when I got to ordering everything was nice, a man got my order and my friends too, he got 2 tapas and a main, I got the same tapas and a main too, when the tapas came they where given to my friend on one plate looking like it’s a combo of what he ordered, where I straight away got some fries and chicken that I thought by the way they wrote crispy potatoes and crispy panko which wasn’t there on my plate I thought it wouldn’t be something else than deep fried chips with unfrozen chicken tenders, my friend enjoying his tapas and me eating my meal I was expecting my tapas to arrive like his, yet since they have it all on one plate and under his nose, I thought it was his, despite that I ordered garlic mayo I got it before I almost finished my food as it was going cold already, then I asked for my tapas and are they being made… he said something in Spanish which I didn’t understand and I was casually waiting, chatting away and my friend finishing his main, I realised they either forgot it or they made both orders on the same plate which confused both of us as I can say, he ate mine where normally I would expect to get my own plate? Apparently not, then I had to pay extra for the tapas that my friend ate due to the confusement and not even the way they made them in 2 minutes, the pulled pork was cold and the pao bread was just flapped on the plate with the meat on the half. Overall I didn't cause any attitudes but I decided to say you shouldn’t put both tapas on one plate, where 2 lads out thinking they’re going to have a plate each got a dissapointment and confusion, I payed 51 euro in total and am I satisfied? No and am I going back? I rather eat the food at home rather than waste my money and get this type of service.. thanks...
Read moreAs a professional in the food and beverage industry, I often find myself critically assessing dining experiences, and my recent visit to La luna creciente truly impressed me. Nestled along the waterfront, this gem offers not just stunning views but also a standard of service and culinary excellence that sets it apart. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the host, who immediately made me feel welcome. The ambiance was inviting, a perfect blend of coastal charm and comfortable elegance, which is essential for any dining experience. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, an often difficult balance to strike, especially in a busy restaurant. They seemed genuinely knowledgeable about the menu, offering insightful recommendations for both food and wine pairings. It’s clear that they are well-trained and proud of the establishment they represent, which adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience. Read moreCame here just as we was peckish sunbathing on the beach, cannot recommend more, there was an open fire cooking all sorts of sea food and chicken as we walking in what surrounded the restaurants is a lovely aroma.
I went for the chicken thighs cooked on the fire and they were so soft and tender! My Mrs went for the cesser salad and squid boa bun as a starter. All the meals were lovely!
Waiters are second to none and are very smiley and happy and I know very little Spanish but there was no problem communicating, but I think they appreciated me trying. They also speak very good English.
We will be...
