Restaurante Magani — Restaurant in Torrevieja

We came in for a quick breakfast – and left nearly two hours later, exhausted and deeply questioning our life choices.

The timeline: • 15 min: Someone asked if we wanted a menu. • 35 min: Still nothing. I went and got one myself. • 50 min: Drinks and a few olives arrived. • 1h10: Food finally showed up. • One kid’s meal was missing. • 1h20: Fries for the child arrived. • 1h45: We asked for the bill.

No salt, no pepper, nothing on the table but napkins. You have to ask for everything – but good luck catching a staff member, because they never once checked in to ask if we were okay or needed anything.

We only stayed because every other restaurant nearby was closed.

To be fair, the food tasted good – credit where it’s due. But great flavor doesn’t save an experience that felt like a slow descent into madness.

Avoid unless you have unlimited time, infinite patience, and bring your own seasoning… and maybe...

I read some reviews prior to our visit, both good and bad, and both were deserved. The waiter that dealt with us was a younger man and in my opinion should go back to school for waiters. Only on the 3rd attempt did he bring me my drink that I ordered, a simple drink, coke zero. 1st he brought me a beer,I don't drink alcohol, 2nd a full fat coke, then finally a zero. One of our party ordered an apple pie type desert and he bought a chocolate type desert and was adamant that this is what she ordered, to the point that it became uncomfortable for my friend. On his return he said they had no apple, which may have been true or a lie to invoke her to accept the chocolate dessert that he had brought. Bearing in mind that dessert would now be wasted. On a positive note however, all the meals that came from the kitchen did look lovely and quite substantial and the overall experience...

We had a very positive experience at Magani restaurant. The place has an incredible atmosphere and is decorated in a very impressive way, which immediately catches the eye. The service is super friendly – everyone goes above and beyond to make sure the customers feel as comfortable as possible. During our visit, it started to rain, and within seconds, a staff member made sure we wouldn't get wet, which shows the excellent care for the guests. The portions are enormous, so you definitely don't have to worry about being hungry! And the drinks... simply fantastic. I highly recommend this place, and we’ll...
