Kim's bar — Restaurant in Torroella de Montgrí

Weird place - we left hungry. We tried to get a menu for more than 1 hour but they ignored us all the time, although we even tried our best Spanish (we do not speak Catalan). Other people got their food after a short while. The waiters were completely disinterested. We have been travelling through more than 40 countries, we never experienced such a bad restaurant. Sorry for the owners, because apart from the location, that place is lost. Simple: if you hate tourists, do not work in a freaking...

Unfortunately this bar has new management and although we've been going to the bar for 35years he would not serve us to a coffee and a brandy. There were 10 of us so turned down a few euros. While we were there he turned away a group of 10 young men all wanted beer very silly because the season to make money in a small village is very short. We probably won't be visiting there...

I have known Kim's Bar for many years. It was alway's one of the best places to sit ,eat,drink and relax in Estartit. Now since it has been totally refurbished it is even better, the menu is excellent and quality of food is really good. The staff are all friendly and the prices of food and drink are very reasonable. Top marks...
