Possibly the worst restaurant I have ever been to. If you look at my previous reviews of other places you can see I do not often (if ever) give negative feedback. However in this occasion I feel like I need to make my thoughts known.

Upon eventually being seated we were ignored, a couple who sat down a few minutes after us were given menus, asked what they wanted to drink and provided their drinks before we had even had a menu. I’m not sure if this was because we were English or had a toddler but the staff didn’t seem interested in our custom.

Finally after being given a menu after a long wait our order was taken (the restaurant had about 4 tables with people on them) wouldn’t like to guess how long it takes when they are busy.

Food arrived my wife ordered chicken kebab, the sweetcorn had ants crawling all over it, after pointing this out to a member of staff (bald guy, bad attitude) he picked it up (just the sweetcorn) without even an apology and walked off. I would have thought that an apology and a replacement sweetcorn would have been given at the very least, but nothing.

Having nearly finished the ant infested kebab I asked for another drink 15 minutes went past with a nearly empty restaurant and no drink. At that point we promptly asked for the bill, the gentleman who had been serving us all night declined to come back to our table and provide the bill or an apology and sent another member of staff to serve us. I presume this was because he didn’t want to hear some truth about the awful service and food. The card machine was pushed at us without a comment and they walked off without a word. I can honestly say in all the countries I have been to and the many restaurants I have eaten in this was the worst service I have ever ever had. I am not only disgusted in the service provided but the ant invested food they served without even an apology. Quite frankly revolting food and the most awful service if you are holidaying in Tossa de mar avoid this place at all costs! Save your money...

s was, without a doubt, the worst “entrecôte” I have ever had in my life.

First mistake: the order was completely wrong. We received our main course before the starter salad. Completely backwards.

Then came what was supposed to be a premium €24.95 entrecôte. What a joke. I asked for rare, but what I got was basically raw — it looked like it had barely touched the grill for 20 seconds. It was cold, bloody, and absolutely unpleasant.

And let’s be clear: this was not an entrecôte at all. The cut was completely wrong. The meat was filled with huge chunks of fat, sinew, and gristle running straight through it. It even had pieces of bone attached. Proper entrecôte should have a lean structure with fine marbling — this was the complete opposite. Just look at the photos: half of it had to be cut away because it was impossible to eat.

I even sent it back to the kitchen, explaining it was not edible. It came back almost unchanged. Still raw, still the wrong cut, still terrible. Absolutely unacceptable.

Paying €24.95 for this disgrace was outrageous. This was not premium meat, not even close — it was simply the worst steak I have ever been served anywhere. A...

Era la 2 vez que íbamos a este restaurante, la 1 vez no estuvo mal, nada del otro mundo pero en la media de lo que te puedes encontrar en los restaurantes de Tossa, pero esta 2 fatal, íbamos 4 adultos y mi hija de 2 años, pedimos menú ( 16,95€) mi suegro se pide para beber una cerveza, 1 agua para la niña y pido sangría para 3, pues por 1 vez en mi vida me sirven una sangría en un vaso de tubo!!! Osea nos ponen 3 tubos, se lo comento a la camarera y me dice que es una mandada, ok en eso lleva razón, pero me dice, igualmente las sangrías tocan a 1/4 por cabeza que son las que entran en el menu, ok le digo, pero si la sangría de 1 litro salen 4 vasos en estos vasos de tubo con 2 hielos como mi puño hay un sorbo... Total no me quise calentar, pero ojo 2 mesas que llegaron después que nosotros empezaron a comer antes!! Ya empecé a calentarme, y cuando los de la otra mesa se acaban los 1 viene el camarero y me trae un plato... con toallitas de limón para después de comer el pescado!!! Entonces ya se me nublo el cerebro, no me traes comida, mi hija aqui sin comer y los de al lado ya se han acabado los entrantes... Le digo al camarero que si en 1 minuto no me trae comida me levanto y me voy, anda y al minuto viene con todos los entrantes, una cazuelita, y digo ita... De mejillones a la marinera que vienen más en los que compro preparados en bandeja en carrefour, no exagero, y la mitad de ellos vacíos!! El plato de calamares andaluza una tapa penosa, una ensalada verde ridícula, y un plato con 4 croquetas "caseras" que si las prueba Chicote se las mete por... Y los 2 que decir, esa paella con 4 gambas de pena y arroz que no sabía a nada la hace mejor mi hija de 2 años, y una fideua que tuve que pedir allioli para como decía Homer "llamando, llamando al sabor"... Total que no me levante a media comida porque eran las 3 de la tarde y mi hija tenia hambre sino... La verdad que subimos varías veces al llegar el buen tiempo a tossa y los restaurantes de a pie de playa hace varios años que están perdiendo mucho, menús de 17€, 18€, 20€ con platos realmente penosos, el bar Manolo de mi pueblo hace mejores tapas y bocadillos... Decir que evidentemente...
