Restaurant Tursia — Restaurant in Tossa de Mar

I really can't understand where this place gets such good reviews. It's simply inconceivable. We went there hoping to have a nice evening and enjoy something delicious and unique. The waiter sweet-talked us into ordering a fish called San Pedro, claiming it was incredibly tasty and fresh. The price was steep at 30 euros per person, with a minimum order of two portions. Unfortunately, we fell for this trick and also ordered sea urchins as an appetizer.

The sea urchins were served five minutes after we ordered—they were clearly not freshly prepared, just some sort of fish paste with vegetables. I'm not even sure they were real sea urchins. The taste was very strange. Then, they brought the fish ten minutes later, even though we hadn't finished the sea urchins. How is it possible to prepare a fresh dish in just ten minutes? It wasn't fresh or even hot. It was just a plain, bland fried fish with no sauce and no flavor, and it was cold. The side dish consisted of a couple of barely warm potatoes. The portion was very small for one person. We paid over 100 euros for this garbage and left hungry. This is simply a disgusting restaurant with poor-quality food, masquerading as something fancy...

My friend and I spent the day in Tossa and kinda randomly decided to have lunch in this restaurant cause the reviews were good. We arrived there without a reservation and they told us to come back in 30min. The restaurant was full, which to me is always a good thing! We came back, got seated immediately. Fantástico! Nos gusta mucho Tossa de Mar, es un pueblo fascinante, lleno de rincones especiales, pero no teníamos la menor idea de lo que íbamos a descubrir! El restaurante Tursia! Des del primer momento, al realizar la reserva sabíamos que era un lugar con una dedicación formidable, de hecho en la misma reserva ya elegimos el segundo plato, Lubina de 1,2kg al horno, me faltó decir que queríamos comer pescado para que nos ofrecieran la pieza, y no le iba a decir que no, tengamos en cuenta que Tossa es un pueblo de tradición pesquera, ,no iba a fallar y no falló! Llegamos a Tursia y fuimos recibidos por un camarero muy agradable, esa gente salada del Sur, y el vino que nos recomendo nos convenció. La comida de buen producto, fresco y calidad, combinado perfectamente con detalles de autor dentro de una cocina clásica, pura y sin complejos, sinceramente una cocina como dios manda. Un negocio familiar que nos sorprendió gratamente y como empresario del oficio sentí orgullo, se respiraba paz, compañerismo, liderazgo en su pura esencia! Estuvieron a todo, por todo y tanto la cocina como el servicio fueron de 10. Agradecemos muchísimo al equipo por hacernos sentir tan bien y regresaremos sin duda a Tursia, a comer ese Cim i Tomba que aunque el rape estuviera un poco seco su sabor era espectacular, la lubina al horno exquisita, en su punto, los postres y recomendaciones sin un solo contra, la verdad, vale la pena.
