Unfortunately, my visit to this restaurant was quite disappointing. The fish I ordered was frozen and lacked the freshness you would normally expect from a place so close to the sea.

While I completely understand the challenges that local businesses face, I believe a focus on simple, honest dishes would create a much better experience.

I was also quite annoyed that my honest first review was not published. I believe Google should be more proactive in allowing genuine feedback and in protecting future customers from misleading or overly positive fake reviews.

I genuinely hope the restaurant improves, but for now, I would recommend looking elsewhere if you are hoping for authentic, quality seafood A real shame, as the setting is lovely, and the island deserves better culinary...

We had a great dinner in la barraca. For starters we had fried baby squid and garlic shrimps. The shrimps were really tasty and the baby squid were perfectly fried. We then tried the fried squid main course and the bacon wrapped shrimps, and again both were delicious. To end the meal we had queso Frito (goat cheese covered in honey) as recommended by the waitress and it was incredibly tasty and good as dessert too. I must recommend it to anyone who likes cheese. Unsurprisingly the sangria at la barraca was also very nice and not watered down like at other restaurants. Don't skip a dinner at la barraca if you're looking for good fish with a view...

One of my favourite four restaurants in the whole island. I was doing a little research before our holiday and lots of people were advising this hidden place on the coast so we have decided to give it a try. The quality and the quantity of the food in general was great, we had paella de marisco plus a shared portion of mix grilled fish that made us totally full. Finally we also went for a portion of cheese cake and surprisingly was one of the best ever tried so far. We didn't spend much and they also offered a shot of honey rum which is typically from Canary Islands. The service was excellent and the view...

We had the most wonderful experience in La Barraca restaurant. The food is amazing! Chef Brian is wonderful in cooking and the waiting staff are very friendly and helpful. Every time we went there we had a waiter called Daniel. A very pleasant young man who makes you feel like a special guest. The food is out of this world with very good prices. must try fresh fish, stuffed fresh fish with seafood, paella and baby squid. Keep in mind that paella must be ordered 1 day in advance. Beautiful homemade food that you will not be disappointed with.

Miserable food! Rotten beef and sloppy fries. Cheap wine. And all that at crisp prices. Although beautiful view, but due to the food quality, the mood fades immediately. 50€ for 2 people is simply outrageous for this poor standard. When we told the waiter that the meat is not fresh and not prepared medium, he laughed and was surprised that we had expected fresh… same for the fish! Really disgusting!! Clear advice to make a bow around the restaurant!
