Ardacho — Restaurant in Valencia

We tried multiple times to have our lunch here but weren’t lucky until today when we planned ahead of time. We went here for lunch with a reservation for 3 people to celebrate our Mom’s bday. And we ordered: For appetizers CROQUETA CREMOSA DE POLLO MINI PATATITAS BRAVAS CON MAHONESA DE TRUFA Y SALSA BRAVA CASERA (I asked for the sauce on the side) BERENJENA ASADA CON CREMOSO DE PARMESANO , TOMATE SECO, NUECES Y PECORINO

The patatitas came first, followed by Croqueta de Pollo, and it took us a while to have the Berenjena. At the same time, the rest of our appetizers were almost finished, which was a bit of an unpleasant experience.

As for the Main: PAELLA DE POLLO CON SETAS ,VERDURITAS Y ROMERO It was served just right after the Berenjena. We thought the Paella was rich in flavor and generous with the ingredients. It would’ve been perfect when the side of the rice would be crunchy. But overall, we enjoyed the Paella.

After that, we had desserts (Tarta de Quezo, Tarta de Chocolate, and Calabaza Asada) with coffee. We all enjoyed our desserts - the cheesecake wasn't as your traditional, but it brought good sweetness and consistency: the chocolate cake was not that sweet, yet smooth and rich. The baked squash/pumpkin - loved the combination of biscuits and merengue - gave the balance of pumpkin and sweetness of the ingredients as a dessert. And on top of it, the portions were just lovely. The right taste and the bitterness, power, and kick of the coffee were there.

The other thing that would have been a fantastic experience - unfortunately, they wanted us to leave soon because of the second batch of people while we were almost finishing our desserts and coffee.

We paid 88.60€ Could be a little bit pricey, however with the quality of the food and overall service - it is worth it.

Overall, we are pleased and satisfied with the food, staff, and ambiance. And would love to visit some other time when it’s not as busy as this Festive Month. Happy to...

Great food, both from a taste and a visual perspective. Went there with my girlfriend to have a nice dinner out, and Ardacho delivered amazingly, and (although not the sole reason for the rating) the price positively surprised us. We shared a loaf of bread and aioli, croquetas with Wagyu ham, one burrata with roasted veggies, and a steak tartare, each of us had a glass of house wine as well. Muy por debajo de las expectativas.

Lamentablemente, nuestra experiencia en este restaurante ha dejado mucho que desear desde varios aspectos. Para empezar, la disposición del mobiliario es incómoda: las sillas no están bien adaptadas a la altura de las mesas, lo que dificulta disfrutar de la comida con comodidad.

El trato del personal fue bastante pasota y poco atento. Trajeron los platos con una rapidez excesiva y sin coordinación, hasta el punto de que no cabían en la mesa. Además, los camareros no disimulaban las prisas por que termináramos, incluso cuando aún había comida en la mesa, lo que generó una sensación constante de incomodidad.

La paella de pato estaba excesivamente salada y el arroz, algo crudo. El arroz “meloso” era más bien caldoso, soso y sin ninguna cremosidad. Puede que la calidad de la comida sea buena en otras ocasiones, pero si este ha sido un mal día en cocina, tampoco se justifica con el precio que cobran.

El vino nos lo sirvieron en una cubeta colocada directamente sobre la mesa y nos indicaron que la apartáramos nosotros mismos. Sirvieron los cafés antes de los postres, no retiraron los vasos que no se estaban utilizando, y al dejar los platos sobre la mesa lo hicieron con tan poco cuidado que acabamos con manchas en la ropa. Todos estos detalles transmiten una falta total de atención al cliente.

En cuanto al precio, sinceramente, me parece excesivo para la calidad del servicio que recibimos. He visitado varios restaurantes del mismo rango de precio, y la experiencia ha sido infinitamente superior en todos los aspectos: atención, cuidado, ritmo del servicio y ejecución de los platos.

En definitiva, una experiencia decepcionante, que no justifica ni el coste ni la reputación que parece tener. No repetiría ni lo...
