Tapavid — Restaurant in Valencia

On arrival we were initially told the restaurant was full, however, as we were walking down the street the owner (Miguel) called us back to say they could make space for us.

We were so glad they did! We had just arrived in Valencia and had some of best food we've ever had. The Gamba were incredibly fresh, juicy and tasty (€6 each and definitely worth it), beautiful scallops, delicious calamar and the Tune Tartar was a definite highlight. Also, the Solomillio Al Foie is a must have if you visit, so delicious! Despite all thee of us not being able to speak much Spanish, the owner did his best to make sure he explained every dish and made sure we had a good meal. Expectacular!!! El servicio es de lo mejor que se ve hoy en día, ambienté muy familiar, muy amables y atentos. En cuanto a la comida, si uno quiere ir de tapas de lo mejor que conozco, el plan de cristal con ese solomillo con foie o con un poco de trufa rayada por encima es para chuparse los dedos. el ajoarriero impresionante, la ensaladilla rusa para no parar. El tomate valenciano se deshace con un sabor donde hay pocos sitios, la bodega es amplia y muy buena a precios muy interesantes, los postres para que engordes, un poco si no te cuidas, la manzana asada te deja sin palabras y para la tertulia que te preparen un gin tónic, variedad de ginebras y son un arte, al probarlo subes al séptimo cielo. Si no vas te vas a perder algo bueno y si te gustan las tapas repetirás. Por poner un pero, es una zona, difícil para aparcar, pero tienes muy cerca 2 parkings.
