Decided to try this restaurant after looking that the reviews. The food was great and a really affordable price, however it was the worst service we’ve ever experienced at a restaurant! The server was extremely rude: when we arrived we were barley greeted. Once we got our food, we asked for some hot oil/sauce and the waitress didn’t even acknowledge that we had spoken. When we finished eating the waitress just brought over our bill (without us asking/not seeing if we wanted anything else) and when we asked to pay with card she again gave us the blankest stare and didn’t acknowledge our question. As we waited for her to bring over the machine (maybe because again she didn’t answer us) her colleague came over and asked us if we wanted dessert— it was the strangest thing ever- we had to explain that we were already given the bill so we thought we had to pay. Overall, I would not return! The food was good but there are other good restaurants nearby that has a more welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant was...
Read moreI'm so glad I didn't see the reviews before coming here because we most likely would've skipped this restaurant. We came for dinner at 11:30pm on our first night in Valencia. The store was about to close, but the owner was nice enough to let us order and dine-in. We were so surprised at how flavorful and good quality the food was. We are Chinese and live in NYC, and I must say, the food at Casa Dragon is better than Chinese food we get in NY. Roast pork and stir fry potato noodles were sooo good! I kept thinking about the food we had here and had to go back another night. We tried another Chinese restaurant around the corner that had better reviews and it couldn't compare to Casa Dragon flavor-wise. The owners don't smile much, but they work the whole day, so it's understandable. Prices are very reasonable too. Restaurant is clean. If you want good quality food, you must check out...
Read moreDecent food, but we chose it after seeing the set menu for 2 on their website, for €18.95 including 2 drinks, so we were a bit surprised to receive a bill for €27.90. When we queried it we were told "oh, that's last year's prices", and the waiter hurriedly removed the QR codes on the walls (which take you to the online menu), and showed us a printed menu, which did indeed say €24.95 (written on a label covering whatever was there before) - with no mention of drinks.
But an increase of almost 50% in one year? Especially when the place next door has a very similar set menu for €8.50 per person. Seems a bit of a jump, for what was good, but not...
